The chick that got arrested *ALLOWED* them to squat, and then lied to them 👮‍♂️ about staying in her Section 8 housing. Frankly, it’s difficult to ascertain what all went down. In this situation, it’s not that one party has more Rights than another - no one has the right to strike another person (unless in self defense).

Officers were absolutely and totally wrong here…. She is obviously frustrated beyond belief that this woman is squatting on her property…all other responses come from the fact that they are removing the HOMEOWNER and not the visiting person… HOMEOWNER rights should have easily outweighed a person who has NO lease or wrirren documentation to prove she has a LEGAL right to be there..

Pink pants isn't the owner of the property, she does have a lease though...BUT it sounds like she entered into an additional agreement with her brother about his girlfriend and was paid a sum of money as well. So she's in the wrong in this case...if you don't want someone living with you then don't agree to it and for certain dont take their money. She lied and said that the gf has not spent even one night at this, police proved this to be a lie. Because of all this the lease holder will be required to go thru the proper channels (i.e legal) getting her evicted, especially if the gf owes more money....pink pants has no one to blame but herself.

Pink pants is rightfully scared. Her squatter relatives can stay legally after 3 months of receiving mail at that address.
I don’t think this is sister-in-law’s first rodeo.
Bad call on the cops’ part.

Horrible decisions which I suspect will come back to haunt the police officers. She was very calm and respectful until she saw they were not trying to understand her. She was never aggressive before being put into the car, only hysterical. She never shouted, she just has a whiney voice.
Even if she lied about them living here, that's absolutely not proof that she swung first. And as I suspected, the charge would be assault instead of battery because she didn't harm, she only intended to harm
Plus the police should have verified the GFs belongings spread around the room for themselves. Having a bus ticket and being picked up doesn't mean she was going to her house. Can't take her word just because her brother corroborates, they cutie have planned to say the same thing. Pictures could will be just from visits.
Imagine being kicked out of your own house. Whole thing is a total mess.

It’s astonishing how a privately owned business can have you trespassed without explanation but you can’t remove someone from your home if they claim to have stayed with you more than a week or so. This video was so frustrating to watch knowing the cops were in the wrong every step of the way. Even worse while she’s in jail they can ransacked her house without consequences.

Perhaps if she had said, OK, focus are you listening? They don't live here, they're only visiting, this is my house. The officer never even told her, O.K. To get them to leave, have them evicted. Then apply for a restraining order, so they can't come back.

My Dad is a retired career city cop ... he had to work Christmas his rookie year on the street, and they got called on a "Domestic" ... everyone in the house wanted Drunk Uncle Joe to go, he refused to leave ... it was CHRISTMAS, he ain't goin nowhere! ... (It was one of his relatives house, a sister or brother etc.) - he locks himself in a laundry room, my Dad tries talking to him through the door ..."Listen can we just talk, I heard their story, can you tell me yours?" === "Sure come on in, I don't want to cause any trouble, it's Christmas..." ... soon enough the door opens, the guy seems completely calm, my Dad thinks it's all good ... "Ok buddy so tell me what's going on tonight..." === "Ohh, nothin much, nothin other than !THIS!" and promptly buries an ice-pick in my dad's upper-arm/shoulder. Domestics are *the worst* , you NEVER KNOW what someone is going to do or how the idea of losing someone's family/home/safety & security is going to cause them to say 'Fuck it!" etc.
