So good--I love this top to bottom. Videography, music, your dialogue, and of course the photos. You really make Seattle feel like SEATTLE in this video!
I try to capture the authenticity of this city and life in the PNW, it’s literally not sunshine and rainbows up here 😂 Thank you for the kind words. I really do appreciate it!
love to see this!! I just pushed some Kodak Gold 200 that im about to make a video for! so thank you for this ! cool to see this from other photographers
I really appreciate that. The city can feel a little overwhelming sometimes, but on these more ugly days where people tend to hide from the weather I feel like I can navigate it at my own pace and settle in. Once the weather starts to change, maybe I'll go back and do a follow up.
Nice video, man! To me it was fun, and I really dug the music. I was out to Seattle last Fall, and to the market so it was nice to see some familiar scenes. Keep doing YOUR thing!
Thank you, I had fun making this one and it was nice taking a break from the lo-fi hip hop beats hahaha. The market is such a staple of Seattle, as well going there in fall is the best! It's nice and chilly, but not too wet.
I love Tri-X and I know that can be confrontational, hahahaha. Then again I buy a lot of SFX 200 & Rollei Infrared for my trichromes and I don't hate the look of either of those films as standard black and white.

Let me know when it’s up! I’d love to see your results! Also thank you so much!
gotcha
You've got some great results pushing HP5, very cool. As was the video, really loved seeing Seattle through your eyes.

Damn so many good photos - love the cinematic feel
Thank you dude, I'm really happy with how these photos turned out too
Love love love the b&w video and swanky tunes
It can't always be lo-fi hip hop. I just thought the jazz was a good choice for the rainy wet day. Basically me manifesting my own noir story.
Great vidi! Some of those blossom shots look like Infra red shots.
I mean .. What else is there other than HP5?

Loved this video :) what is the song at the beginning of the video?
Longing - Vendla
Dope man 🔥
Thank you man! Check out the follow up video shooting the same combination in Las Vegas on my channel if you liked this one!
Nices photos i use f2, 50/1.4 and hp5 at 1600 also. What developper did your use?
Unfortunately, I do not know. I sent this into my lab and had them develop it for me. Still need to get onto that developing train
Did you use any tripod for those night photos?
All hand held at 1/60th or 1/30th of a second using a Nikon 50mm f/1.4
Makes me want to take my camera a bit more often.
I take that as the highest compliment! Thank you!
Hp5?
Hp5 pushed to 1600
Of course it's raining
