- This episode’s timing was kismet. Death and Life is a central theme for the episode, so that’ll be a thing here.

They're pretty much the same thing, but UA-cam takes a little more of the support away from me, but they offer some stuff to give you a little more notoriety as a supporter.
Your wife's words were extremely touching. I'm so sorry for your loss.
The cupcakes story is the series saying goodbye to Todd Packer. He showed everyone for the last time that this is who he is and will never change.
For a character who is universally hated, Packer got like 3 different farewell episodes. Compare that to Kelly and Ryan, who get one half-hearted line in a cold open. I don't think I would've thought twice if Packer never showed up after Michael let Jim and Dwight send him to Florida.
You're a good man. If my wife asked me to speak at such an event I would have started with "Fri-day night. I'm thinkin' that we-just-might..." all before I get the mic ripped from my hand for daring to pull an ITYSL reference. Thanks for your work, and just remember that there are people who will be watching this who are going through their own battles, and your silly little comments are the difference between their misery and those brief moments of smiling, positive reminiscence, and happiness. And however brief, it helps chip away at that burden piece by piece.
Don’t you have some magazines or calendars or something for guys like meeeee?
God bless you. All hail the returning king of Office commentary!
Hope you and yours will get through this rough time without unneccesary pain. Wishing yall the best.
I started watching The Office Field guide since a month ago and I have finally caught up to it
I would have watched the spin-off! Anything Dwight is my jam! 😁🥰🥰🥰
So sorry for your loss Chris. I’d been wondering about the wait with the next upload but I see now that you were totally prioritizing what was more important. May your father in law rest in peace. ❤🤷🏻♂️ As for the video, as great of content as you’ve ever put out. 👍
Sorry to hear about your loss
About the moon: great metaphor, but the physics of it is not that depressing. It will never drift fully away!
The moon is drifting away because it is locked in a rotating system with the earth. As the earth and moon match each other's motion, they will spin less, and the moon will get further away (angular momentum is conserved). Eventually, they will be 'tidally locked' and will have the same side facing each other forever. At that point they won't be drifting apart anymore, and will stay that distance apart until they are absorbed by the sun when it starts to expand as it dies.
Way to ruin the beautiful metaphor nerd
I’m sorry for your loss
Sorry for your loss.
When I first watched this episode for the first time back in 2013, I was absolutely confused by it. I chalked it up to it being season 9 and the writers just throwing stuff at the wall. Seeing it again a decade later and understanding more of the background, it's just a reminder of how much they were phoning it in at this point in the series.
So sorry for your loss, friend.
Condolences for your loss. ❤
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.
Giving an update on the office ladies: mulverine overlap! There is now only one episode difference! So they talked about the farm last week and gave a lot of really good insight to offer new perspectives for the “worst episode of the office” it’s not my favorite episode by any means, but I do look at this episode in new light and definitely think the farm could’ve been something great
Hey man, sorry to hear about your family's loss. Thank you for sharing.
The idea of duality is super interesting. I had a brain tumor that left me disabled and wheelchair bound. Am I glad it happened? Hell no. But I’m grateful for the perspective
Dwight does mention having siblings but it sounded like they were older. It was when he said he has experience raising kids because for schrutes the youngest raises the others
Your videos are great, hope you and the family process the loss best as you are able.
Let's assume Philip was always going to be Dwight's child and they would eventually find their way to each other. In a reality where The Farm wasn't canceled The Office might have ended with Dwight and Angela's relationship on a cliffhanger (to then resolve in the spin-off)
Sending big love to you and your wife ❤ losing a parent is so hard
If Young Sheldon became a critical darling, The Farm would have been fine
YS is a very entertaining show
I really liked the farm part of this episode. (Not Packer's part).
I knew it was a weird one, but that makes sense that it was a pilot
All I knew was it showed a future for Dwight in a positive path.
I normally don't acknowledge this season, but the B plot of this episode was one of the best in the series for me.
You bastard got me crying, just went to kiss my mom while I can. Thank you and sorry for your loss Chris.
My thoughts are with you and your family. Your wife crafted a beautiful metaphor.
Regarding this episode, I don’t think it would have worked even if The Farm was picked up. I’m a big Office fan but I could not be less interested in the goings on of Shrute farms. Dwight works because he’s the weirdo in a sea of relatively normal people. A whole show of weirdos? no thanks. Hard pass.
I always knew I liked you man but then you shouted out Middleditch’s red dead rp and now I might be falling in love with you.
I don’t know whether or not you’re Christian but as one myself, I believe death and tragedy can often be ways for God to make good things happen in our lives. Like you said, it can bring people who had previously held grudges back together. Whether it’s overdue or horribly untimely, there’s always a reason for it to happen. I’m sorry for your loss Mr Mulverine Sir, may God bless your family
Fun fact: while Thomas Middleditch and Zach Woods (Richard and Jared) both starred on the office, Kumail Nanjiani and Martin Starr both starred on community which were airing back to back around this time.
“Guest appearance” vs “star”
@@Neyshtradamus With the exception of Middleditch they were all in multiple episodes.
@@henrypeters5291that’s still not “starring”
ok office fans i have some questions for you:
1. when jo makes dwight the acting manager and he sh**ts a gun and is removed from the position
why didnt jo ask jim to be the permanent manager (he only said no to be the 'acting' manager)
2. dont you think karen and jim's breakup story wasnt a good ending like they just showed a 10 second clip of them fighting and she wasnt there from the next day...like is this really how it was supposed to end
Jim was actually the manager when jo arrived, then he switched with michael because he believed it was better he be a salesman and michael the manager, why would jo put him back if he didn't want that position
@@ignaciojvargas no not this one
i am talking about when mike already left
Great video
Good news about the moon! At the rate it's moving away from the earth, the sun will engulf us both about 8 billion years before it's done leaving us.
Way to ruin the metaphor nerd
Always good to know that I will die 8 billion years before a bad thing. I feel better. Thank yo.
1:48 that’s what she said
Heidie and the YUNA!!! :D :D
Since the documentary that pbs aired in the show was around 2 hours what do you think they put in there?
Still better than The Ranch.

Am I doing mini reviews right?
Rating is at 13:38
Love being here this early. 2 views lol
I think instead of reviewing the office again, you could review your field guides
Probably the worst episode of the whole series.
