Just wanted to give a small update. It was suggested that the "broken" tins had the coins secure in the plastic whereas those tins with loose coins were "normal". i went back and looked at my raw footage of opening the tins. Both the Target and Gamestop tins had loose coins that fell out when I opened the box. The coins in the Walmart tin were secure and in fact this tin had the best hits. Inconclusive with just a few tins to test, but another data point to consider. Thanks @pokenewbie for the tip!
Someone else said that for Nate's glitch, the chests from Target that have the coins solidly in place in the packaging have a higher hit chance. But if the coins are loose and flopping around in the chest, then it's a low hit chance.

Wait i pretty sure all the big stores in your area have the same distrubtion center delivering to them right? So would it matter where u buy it from unless you bought it from your local card shops im pretty sure all the big stores in your area have the same merch from the same company
I wonder if these big streamers are just in trying to up pokemon sales lol seems like its always the big streamers that find these suposed glitches like the sliver tempest glitch lol
