I was young and did not know what I had in the 80's/90's with no understanding about life, now I wish I could go back and stay there knowing what I know now in 2024... I'm haunted by my past.

There is no more era in music more special, superlative, and transformative than the 1980s. It was truly a pivotal period in human history that has been difficult to replicate. Everything we hear today (in 2024) is derivative of the 1980s moment in music. I miss and crave the ability to turn the radio on to hear truly visionary artistic talent, unbridled in its interpretation of the (then) modern Zeitgeist, in musical form and expression. I used to think that 80s kids like me were simply biased toward our generation's music as the best over all others---today I know it is true.
In my opinion the human league is one of the very best European group's of all time I once had a remixed cassette tape done for me by the the college in Athens west Virginia back then the human league in the 1980s was it in America and all over Europe as well human Saya what lovers know that sometimes happens when love and sex becomes unfaithful but whatever the case lover's have to learn to forgive at least once whenever love gets complicated we Americans always have this problem but when love is faced with honesty love can conquer all even in the worst of times my favorite is this video and their other video mirror man and I believe in love action .

I would go to Hollywood with friends to the club's after working at a clothing Store in Downtown Los Angeles that had 80's trendy clothes. We also had a Dj play Disco and KROQ music while the customers shopped. How I missed those days. The best days of my life. Now 67 and retired. Now looking for a vacation home in Vegas.

Love this song for the memories and tragedy it brings back. I mused back in the 80s that it couldn't happen; the song is about a couple who cheated on each other out of loneliness. Then I had to study abroad for my MA, that's when me and my fiancee both had a "Human" moment and that was it. I never found out what happened to her from our abrupt and tragic breakoff. Still see her face as she was 30yrs ago whenever I hear thus song with a smile and a tear, everytime. God bless her

This is the most 80 anthem I have ever heard...
Many Human League fans have often critisised this period & this song but i have always loved it myself. Human is a wonderful epic 80's sad power ballad that sounds better now than ever. Played through a good Hi Fi & decent (big) speakers it sounds amazing!

Love this song for the memories and tragedy it brings back. I mused back in the 80s that it couldn't happen; the song is about a couple who cheated on each other out of loneliness. Then I had to study abroad for my MA, that's when me and my fiancee both had a "Human" moment and that was it. I never found out what happened to her from our abrupt and tragic breakoff. Still see her face as she was 30yrs ago whenever I hear thus song with a smile and a tear, everytime. God bless her
