This man was the best!!! Never given the recognition that he deserved. I saw him perform at least 15, 20 times. Was even at his 90th birthday party in Las Vegas! A great talent and a nice man! Nobody like him ever again!
Buddy was most famous for his sense of irony about the whole night club singer thing. The aside comments he made during a song mimicking what he imagined some guy in the audience might be thinking were hilarious.
@dyinglikeflies Apparently, you're not musically savvy. Buddy is a totally different singer. In addition, he was and still is, a hell of a musician. Hsave known Buddy since 1959, when we met up in Chicago. Still in contacrt with him, even though he and his wife, Lezlie Anders, have relocated to London. Big star in Europe. Still performing in theaters, nightclubs and concerts. Would you be doing the same thing at the age of 85? I don't think so.........

There was a magic that Buddy posses it was an intangible. There were better singers but Buddy had flash and old school charm of the past .
