Red River Late Afternoon/Evening Bite (NATALIES BIG GREENBACK !!!)

After walking out hundreds of yards at Balsam bay, setting up and catching nothing for hour. We decided to race back to Selkirk to fish the Red River, so we could try to make the best of the rest of the day. We turned our luck around and had ourselves a great afternoon/ Evening.

Hey where did you find those fish I'm going out in my new otter on Wed. Lock port or around the airport or end of main. That's crazy they're not bitting right now just green backs not much bigger than my lure.

Balsam is a weird one.
Sometimes you can do ok close to shore but usually its terrible.
My best fishing was always about mile to mile and a half straight west of the marina.
West side you can crush fish in the shallows. East side? No sir. Gotta go 16ft+
Again, just my experience.
