    ❤I am so happy to be able to hear the *great* Frankfurt Radio Orchestra perform on UA-cam and see the audience’s wonderfully warm reception to them - BRAVISSIMO 👍

    Fantastic performance of an immensely difficult work! As usual the camaraderie on display by this orchestra at the end during applause is heartwarming

    I has been a long time since we've seen Sebastian Wittiber and Clara Andrada playing together ("Flute Guy" and "Clara"). Whatever the occassion, thank you!

    I would have considered this kind of music absolutely terrible ten years ago. Nowadays, this piece is brilliant for me. And the performance did more than justice to the work.
    Many thanks for the upload!

    Composer clearly admires Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring", eh.

  • @paulkoza8652
    @paulkoza8652 Рік тому

    I am unfamiliar with the work and the composer, so I had to research this before commenting. Ameriques appears to be a very complex work that requires the full orchestra. It reminds me of Stravinsky, but only at a high level. This must have been a challenge to rehearse, but the orchestra pulled it off beautifully.

    Not at all familiar with this piece. Sounds like something for a science fiction movie. Close Encounters or Jurassic Park come to mind. Fun to watch and listen.

      I thought the same but check out the composer and the piece. There is more to it than meets the eye.

    Nulla da invidiare a Boulez! E dal vivo per giunta (anche se si tratta della seconda versione, quella per così dire "ridotta" sia nella durata che nell'organico orchestrale rispetto alla precedente, pur rimanendo tuttora di impressionante modernità)
