- Alan Jackson, born October 1958, is a famous country-pop singer and songwriter. He is also known for masterfully mixing traditional music with the country genre. All of Alan's 66 songs successfully hit the billboard charts.
In protection of his country music legacy, he was inducted into the Nashville Foundation and Country Music Hall of Fame. Alan has two Grammy awards to go with his illustrious career. His family must be proud! Come along and let us learn about them.
Late Joseph Jackson, born July 1927, in Georgia is the father to Alan. He worked as a mechanic for Ford incorporated, a well known Car manufacturing industry. Joseph rebuilt a shed storage to house his wife, Ruth, and his five children. He died in January, 2000.
Ruth Jackson (formerly Musick), was born in Lowell town in Carroll County, and is mother to Alan. She was born in April 1930. She was a hardworking woman. She enjoyed traveling across the country after her retirement. Perhaps an influence from her only son.
Alan has four sisters: Diane Dawson, Connie Davis, Cathy Wright, Carol Glover. They are all married. There is no information about their personal life. I guess being sisters to a popular singer works fine enough for them.
Alan is happily married to Denise Jackson. She and Alan met when they were just teenagers. They married at Newman Baptist Church and the marriage is blessed with three children - all girls. Alan must have had his fill with that gender! Denise previously worked as a flight attendant for Piedmont Airlines. She now writes books professionally.
Mattie Selecman is the oldest of Alan's children. She is the co-founder of an apparel company. She works under the NaSHEville brand. She suffered a family tragedy when her husband, Ben Selecman, died in a boat accident in 2018.
Alexander Jane Bradshaw is the second child of the family. She was once caught by the police and charged with assault. She met her husband, Sam Bradshaw, at Mattie's wedding. One wedding brewing another.
Dani Grace Jackson, born August 1997, is the last child of the family. She loves Country Music like her Dad and has appeared in a few of his songs and videos. She has an estimated net worth of $1.5 million which comes from her involvement in the fashion business. She is not married.
