Haven't seen a lot of heavy metal music inspired by Warhammer tbh, but rather chants (like this one) and things inspired by the Mechanicus OST. Sorry that you weren't as lucky. Do you happen to not like metal and still have it in your recommended or did you just get frustrated by the amount of it?
@@Spiderella3959 I will say that most of what I find specifically for the Sororitas music is disappointingly metal. Not that I hate metal, I just never felt that the theme works for groups like this or in settings like this. This piece is by far my favorite, and I would love to get more like it. Funny enough, the Space Marines have less metal music than the Sororitas do, and more of the gregorian chants that I'd expect for others lol.

For me, it is the dark, unbearable choir that brings out the true nature I feel the Warhammer 40k universe would be in, not the heavy-metal head-banging music, but instead the deep, slow, and foreboding sounds that a dying universe gives out before completing its lifespan.

Hard agree. Heavy metal music serves 40K well, but most times the essence of the verse isn't in the action, but the depths of the humanity on display. Tragedy and woe befall our race in this grimdark future, jealousy and betrayal have rendered us unto the clutches of our enemies. All is despair, and yet some small margin of daring hope remains. It's all captured so perfectly in music like this.
War is eternal, and for this reason humanity is also eternal. Humanity will fight for its very existence no matter how long it takes, and it shall never be defeated.
