Yes, Heliocare is a Spanish brand. They're from a company called Cantabria Labs, and Cantanbria is a region in the north of Spain. I live in Spain, and the variety of LRP and Avène products is amazing. I've been thinking buying that Bioderma facial cleanser in the pink bottle, the one that I saw in your pharmacy section of the vlog.
Helena Rubenstein used to be a big American brand that was rivalled with Elizabeth Arden, in fact there was a Broadway show featuring Patti Lupone and Christine Ebersole!
Helena Rubenstein is still available in certain venures in the US, but it is vastly expensive!
Handsoaps from Rituals are LIFE!
Loved this format 😍 I love walking around in stores with a good assortment of skincare and makeup and this gave me that feeling, but not having to leave the house 😂
Isdin, Sesderma y Heliocare are Spanish brands pretty popular in LATAM, they get better sunscreens that us here in 🇺🇸🤣☹️
I really like this type of vlog!! Love to see all the different brands out there and parts of your Spain trip! ❤️
Yes!!! Love travelling with you specially since covid-19 I haven’t travelled outside NZ since 2020. And love looking at what other countries have in terms of skin care & comparing price points ❤️👏🏻👏🏻
I love this kind of walk/shop-with-me vlog. Especially because you are not in the US. There are so many more brands, more products from familiar brands and visiting a Sephora or brand specific shop and even a drugstore/Chemist seems different country to country. I am excited to see reviews on the products you purchased and even what you wished you could have purchased if the cost were not as high.
One of my favorite brand is from Spain, please try it, it's amazing!! It's called niche beauty lab, and they have a brand within called transparent, that's the one I love but I heard great things about their specific brand for acne
Yass! I love Transparent Lab and Acnemy too!
What I don't like about that brand personally is that they copy absolutely everything from other brands like Kiehl's, Niod, Zitsticka, The Ordinary... And they don't even give good instructions and precautions in most of their products sometimes. I know some people that bought products from them thinking they were the ordinary because the packaging is almost the same. But I agree that for when those are out of stock is good choice idk 🤷🏽♀️
@@kenny_96 Niche Beauty Lab does have a lot of copy cat brands, Beauty Drops is the one that can really be mistaken by the ordinary, they had one that was copying YTTP and another one copying Farmacy as well, but I think they have now evolved and are investing in more unique products, Transparent Lab and Acnemy have really good products that I don't think are copying any other brands
@@luana73 have you seen the zitless patches?? They're exactly the same as the Zitsticka ones. Yes I agree with you that they're evolving but they keep their copies on the market which is very shady to say the least
@@kenny_96 I forgot about those lmao, but besides the patches I don't think any other products are direct copies (the ones from Acnemy, Transparent Lab and their newer brands, the lip and hair one, the other brands I mentioned are total copies 😂)
Loved the vlog of your trip to Barcelona!
Last time I went to Barcelona was early 2020 before the pandemic. I was so excited about going to Sephora because I wanted to get some products of Peter Thomas Roth and The Ordinary, and I couldn't find them hahaha These brands aren't available at least in Sephora in Spain but I bought some stuff by Filorga (French brand but really meh). Sesderma is a Spanish brand and pretty popular here in Latin America 😁
PLEASE recommend a sunscreen from Sesderma for a conventional man.. No make up look or whatever.. U know!
We have the brand here in Dubai
When you went into the last shop....omg...I died and went to La Roche Posay heaven! Wow!!!!!!! Saw my sunscreen ! The Hydrating lotion SPF 50+ in the eco tube!
Loved your vlog! Barcelona looks like a great place for a trip
Excited to watch this as I moved to Spain last year from Canada and there are so many new brand that I can’t decide if I should try them or not. My new fav sunscreen is Revox Just Daily Sun Shield SPF 50. It’s VERY hydrating but it blends in like a moisturizer. You’d never know it’s sunscreen. No cast, doesn’t pill under makeup.
Is Revox a good brand? I’m Italian and I’ve noticed Douglas sells it
@@gretadamato9663 I don’t know much about the brand but their Just line reminds me of the ordinary a little bit because they sell a lot of single ingredient focused products and it’s super cheap. I also use the 10% niacinamide, the 10% azelaic acid, and the avocado eye cream. They all seem good to me but it’s hard to tell sometimes with these kinds of things 🤷🏼♀️
I love this type of videos! 😍 Barcelona is a beautiful city
That park is probably pronounced that way bc they also speak and do signage in Catalan... For example Fundació Miró... Pure Catalan 😉 it'll mess you up 😀
Loved the vlog. Hope you had a great trip.
Love shop with me’s! Please do more of these. Maybe do one in Boots, etc.
I'd love to see what's in a Boot's!
Love Your vlogs!❤❤
Love the vlog style
Slay Queen 👑 This Video Was Iconic 💙💖
LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOOOVE.... those vlog videos. Would also very much appreciate a korres review!
Korres is pricey for me but I love her 😭 thanks for sharing your commentary.. I really like your vlogging vibe
Hi! You have chosen one of the most incredible cities in muy country. I hope you have enjoyed it a lot and for your next trip go to Valencia, there you will enjoy a good paella😉
Espero que pronto vengas a Madrid!
Great video, Ramon! This is perfect for me since I'm planning to go to Spain in May. Just wondering: what are Spain's current mask policies?
Loved this style video!! You took me out at “I love Gods creatures.. “ I was like aww what cute animal is it 🥰 then you said “but these bitches” lmao 😩 that sound!! Omg I cannot😰
Hi Ramon.. Plz try out d ISDIN fotoprotector fusion water spf 50.. Its made in spain I believe!!
I loooove sesderma 😍
Can't wait to see what you think of those products!!! There arent a lot of reviews of european products here on UA-cam...Next time you have to come to Portugal , we have pretty much the same products that you saw in Spain but its cheaper, you can find good deals in some parapharmacys that offer 30 to 40% off on some of the avene, la Roche posay.... There is also a Spanish brand "babaria" that has a lot of skincare and hair care, its super cheap and some products are good.😘
Ooooh is there a reason they’re cheaper in Portugal?
@ i dont know...maybe because the minimum wage is lower in Portugal.... The food for exemple is much cheaper here as well.... 😘😘
Leave those birds alone Ramon 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Have you tried the cicaplast spf 50? Is that the one your looking out for? I've seen it in boots and thinking of picking it up x
Paella outside Valencia is usually rice with things.
Heliocare is indeed spanish :)
I’d love it if you could do a review on the new uvmune 400 sunscreens from la Roche Posay
I’m trying to get my hands on them as we speak
Hello! Do you know if they have a Sephora favourites gift set in Spain? X
Nice video really enjoyed.
Can u tell me about patric ta products is available in barcelona spain
OMG Ramon!!! Thank you for taking us to Spain!!!!!
I have always been interested in the spanish brand skintsugi but haven't got the courage to try it. But it seems you didn't even run into it 🤔😔
Helena Rubinstein is a really old brand. I associate it with my mother's and grandmother's generations and I'm over 60
❤👏
I don't like to criticize because I realized it takes a LOT to film, narrate, and edit. I did like seeing the different brands, but it was just too fast and not really informative, just showing the name of the brands. If you would have highlighted a product in those "new" brands that peeked your interest... Which you kind of did at the end. Even if they are hella expensive or budget, it still fun to have a small idea about the brands. I do appreciate you taking us along. Cheers.
Cosmetic FoRmUlAtOR 🤣🤣🤣
