- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is on a three day visit to Pakistan. It's the first overseas trip by the Iranian president since his country launched a massive airstrike against Israel in retaliation for Israeli strikes in Damascus. The visit is being seen as an effort by Tehran to secure regional support.

All my friends say Pakistan was the best time of their life, and that Pakistani people are crazy kind towards Iranians which is just fascinating to me. My colleague Umar, is from Lahore. Well there emerges the theory that it was never really about Gaza, but about preparing to attack Iran for control of the second-largest gas reserves in the world after Russia. That will explain why - no matter the reason, regardless of international law, and no matter who would pay the price - USA was always going to back Israel in the war effort.
