It seems to be typical with all reworked gods in Smite. First Hi-Rez reworks a god. And everyone's like "oh mai gad so OP", while god may actually be in a just right spot. And then they just keep nerfing him to the ground until he is unplayable. Odin isn't even the worst case. Look at Bastet, look at goddamn Freya. Loki is surely gonna be the next.

You should probably be made mandatory for casuals to watch B4 they can que for ranked. “We’re sorry, but you cannot pick this god as you have not entered the correct Incon password. Have fun handicapping your team in casuals since you don’t seem to know there’s practice modes to learn in.” For real though, I’m bout 6 minuets into the match and our Morrigan is asking everyone what their ults do, and who to go against with what. I get hated on for joking that no ones gonna be ranking up this match oof.
I personally prefer the 3 in solo and support, the poke is really useful for building warrior blessing stacks and the stun is useful for peeling your adc.
As an Odin main with 9 stars I say unlock the 3 at lvl 1 because all tho they do the same amount of damage the 3 has lower cdr, stun, and a slow to avoid dam and clear swiftly. So yea in jung max the 3 and work on positioning and rely on blink a lot to engage. Of course some match ups u max the 2,(against thanatos) but sadly more than half of the strategies that Incon showed that u can do with Odin don't really work anymore unless your enemy is incompetent. Pls Buff Odin
Odin is the god of counterplay. Birdbomb? You can get cc'd when you land that cancels it. 3 has knockup immunity? Long channel and still vulnerable to stuns and silences. Ult totally blocks healing? The damage tickles when you get out.
so i dont play smite alot pretty new so i dont reallly see why odin is not "meta" his clear speed is insane and his ganks are decent and he has a really powerfull ult
Odin isn't played much because he feels absolutely awful from behind, and in ranked everyone likes counter picking with Odin until the enemy team counter-picks Odin with Awilix, and than you never want to play Odin again xD
In jungle there are better junglers who don't need to use half of their kit to clear a camp with long cds , In solo - no sustian and hitting bird bombs is not viable on lane ,support can work has some peel with his 3 and survivability with his 2 and 1 but again he isnt the best even in physical supports (herc and horus)
@@babablacksphee in fact it's not that bad in solo if you use 3 for clear and save 2 for useless punching sometimes i can even outbox early game hades and in team fights odin is great
Why is literally every damn guide of warrior's you USUALLY see in the solo lane, in jungle instead. Like I get that you can still get the basic concepts of the God from the video, but for Christ's sake can we actually get a solo lane guide for once?
Just because you usually see a warrior in solo lane doesn’t mean they are actually good in solo. Like Guan Yu or even Odin. Also, just being truthful. Solo lane gameplay is fairly boring to show. I understand your frustration though because it makes it harder for people to learn solo lane.

Rafael Plugge Axilix isn’t the only counter. ALOT of gods can interrupt his bird bomb as well.
They also hit him with a pretty big nerf a while back by increasing his CD on his abilities and it really hurt him.
