THANK YOU FOR YOUR DETAILING VIDEO AS GREAT WATCHING EVERY TIME HOW DOING THINGS ON LOW INCOME BASE IN BUILD DETAIL LAYOUT
THANK YOU FOR SHARING
The relief buildings add depth and dimension without eating space. Some 3D details will really flesh it out...
Every HVAC Tech watching just got a chill down their spine with that thermostat "cover" lol
Those 3D flats look good enough to be more than mere placeholders. I would reconsider completely covering the thermostat, because you may be insulating it from the ambient temperature in the building, causing the thermostat to be slow to changing temperatures. Maybe talk to an HVAC expert.
You are an artist 👍👍👍
Excellent as always'...
Looks great Joey!
this is a great idea, I think I'll use it to make some senic backgrounds/ guard rails for my slot car track :)
We print quite a few backdrops for slot car racers. Actually, we were talking about creating gatorboard sections for slot car guys. Similar to what you see with our Gatorboard helix components. www.tracksidescenery.com
Looking good. Coming from the design side of the printing industry, I love when you show your computer background design work on screen.
Great way to make relief buildings! Thanks for sharing.
Joey, really like the video series. Hope to see you at a show in the future. P.S., Gerry was the owner of MtAlbert Lumber company. Now part of the Fast Tracks group…
Yeah, I know I said NE and woke up the other night, thinking dang, it's Mt. Albert. I was wondering if anyone would catch that.
Busy today. :)
Love the low relief buildings! They make the scene pop! Nice work! - Brian
Really nice can't wait for more Joey
Great video and brilliant method to cover light switch/intercom/etc. I made a note!!! I have one 4-gang switch and an intercom system next to it. I'm definitely going to hide it with this method. Never occurred to me, thank you for sharing! You may have mentioned in prior video(s) where did you get the shallow relief structures and print outs to cover?
Nice work! What kind of paper are you using for the prints? How well do the prints hold up over time against fading?
These backdrops are our Trackside Scenery backdrops. Although this one is custom for this particular layout.
You can find our backdrops at www.tracksidescenery.com
They are professional matte finish archival photo papers.
Wow this is really great
Be careful covering the thermostat it will cause your air conditioner to over work.
