I used relay as a switch to on off current in ebike controller but contraller is short as diaod is gone ..to have more safety in future can I use SSR in place of coul relay ..then there is no issue of surge in any case right?

Yahape diode itna jaldi kharap nahi hoga aur agar kharap hota hai to relay v Kam karega par uska effect circuit ke upar ayega jiske bajah se circuit damage ho sakta hai, aur agar diode short hota hai phir relay Kam nahi karega
