Thank you all so much for having the patience for this video to come out! I started this animation back in January but throughout the year, I've had final exams and life dragging me down for a couple of months, so as a result I wasn't able to work on this animation properly.
I know the huge momentum that my channel had last year has probably dissipated, but with this animation, I aim to bring it back and also use this as a portfolio to display my skills as a sprite animator. I've put every ounce of my effort into this and I believe you can tell the difference in quality between the start and end of this video.
As we approach Christmas, I want to thank you all again for sticking with me throughout this year. Getting to 1000 subscribers this soon was not something I had expected, but it definitely gave me an incentive to keep making these videos :)

That it almost successfully tricked me into thinking Gogeta stood a chance against Super Sonic. Let alone Super Shadow, and eventually Super Shadic.
This was more epic then it should be haha. These are the animations I miss, don't need Goku and Vegeta having 8 different forms, just one or two is best.

@@nightmare_eclipse4933 if its Modern Sonic and Shadow then all thats needed is Kaioken for Goku and SSJ for vegeta at most, since at bare minimum their bases scale to 5D - 6D. Modern Sonic and Shadow scale to 4D+ because of defeating Solaris and Time Eater.

This matchup makes a lot of sense given how the Sonic franchise has taken a lot of inspiration from DBZ over the years. Here are some examples of DBZ inspiration in the Sonic franchise:
1). The dynamic of Sonic and Shadow is very similar to that of Goku and Vegeta's (Sonic = Goku, Shadow = Vegeta).
2). Turning into Super Sonic/Super Shadow is much like going Super Saiyan.
3). Silver is basically the video game equivalent of Future Trunks.
Fun fact, shadow is actually based off of mewtwo in the first pokémon movie, and maybe a little vegeta.
@@_veloxity91 Never actually knew that before. My Pokemon knowledge is rather limited in comparison to Sonic and DBZ, but I love the comparison.
For me, Shadow in the older games (e.g. Sonic Adventure 2 and Shadow The Hedgehog) represents Mewtwo, while Shadow in the newer games (e.g. Sonic Boom and Sonic Free Riders) represents Vegeta.

This was amazing! I audibly screamed the second “Undefeatable” started rolling. Although a lot of people have differing opinions on Sonic vs Goku, this was a very good quality animation and a fun one too

Dear lord, this was absolutely phenomenal. By far the best sprite animation I've ever seen, way better than anything Death Battle could make. Even though I was totally expecting Goku and Vegeta to win, since people tend to ignore a lot of the broken scaling in the SonicVerse (especially Game Sonic's Verse, which gives the win to Game Sonic and Shadow by a big margin), I was taken by surprise. Good job man, you absolutely nailed this.

Same could be said about Dragon Ball. People always skip the Daisenshuu feats. All they look at is the anime version of the characters. Even manga Goku is way stronger than anime Goku.
With Daisenshuu feats if you were to put Goku and Vegeta in other verses, they would be low-outerversal.
Edit: let me rephrase; if you were to put Goku and Vegeta in most of other verses, they'd be low-outerversal.

It was a really good animation. The animation is pretty accurate and has a lot of good animation effects. Even if the Sonic and Shadow that you use in there aren't the canon ones, still is a pretty good animation.

The fusion isn't Canon to Sonic lore, and Sonic doesn't really have an equivalent to SSJ2, it's unclear if hyper Sonic is Canon as far as I know so don't worry we didn't copy everything lol🤣😂
