Fun fact. The dad in Bluey, Bandit, is voiced by David McCormack. He's the lead singer of 90s Aussie alt/pop rock band Custard. Check out their songs "Apartment" (1995) and "Girls Like That (Don't Go For Guys Like Us)" (1998).
Just a hint, United Airlines is about to increase flights to Australia in October (extra 14 flights per week), with their partnership with Virgin Australia will get you nearly anyplace you will be going to anyway. Limiting yourself to Qantas might not be the best thing to do.
G'day Phez. I've been watching you 3a couple of years, and I'm Impressed by your knowledge And enthusiasm of your posts. I really appreciate thoughtful approach .Good on ya mate 😊😊
Certainly there is an enthusiasm and great enjoyment. I don’t think that Americans really have any understanding of Australia and the way Australians think. There is analysis when none is needed. Many of the episodes I can relate to or are things my children have done or are doing. The situations are real and that makes them appealing to people of all ages. Our trips to Bunnings(hammerbarn) are really like that. My favourite episode is Cricket. When I played as a child (and through to 45) I wasn’t thinking about perseverance, facing up to challenges, l was just having fun. Hitting a ball wasn’t showing that I had mastered the conditions , it meant that everyone was more likely to be ticked off we you because a ball on the roof is no use to anyone. (In any case a ladder would have solved the problem. I have both Kelpies and Jack Russells. If you want a character like Jack then a Jack Russell is the one for you. It represents a stereotype. Kelpies are determine, loyal and see a task through. Rusty is these things. Enjoy Bluey don’t analyse it
8:52 when I watch bluey I can relate to my childhood and the experiences of my children and grandchildren. Why the need to analyse. Just enjoy the ride. I find it puzzling that there are deep and meaningfuls about things that a) Americans have no idea about or b)don’t need to be analysed.
Bluey is the most watched show on television in Australia. It's audience is more than 3 times that of the next most popular.
63 year old Aussie here….no kids. I’m going to go watch me some episodes of Bluey…instead of the news.
I am 59 and I haven't watched it either... but going to now.
I'm an adult and I love watching bluey I'm not ashamed of it

Broke as this week but going to donate to your GoFundMe early next week. Love Bluey even as a childless older lady.
