for int based builds, Wing of Astel is an OP curved sword that can stagger Mohg with only 2 weapon arts. it uses somber stones so it's easy to upgrade. i use that with a staff in my second hand to cast glintstones from further away.
They must've nerfed this because wing of astel isn't doing anything but getting me killed with its extremely long animations
Not gonna lie, he's more tougher than I expected. Me and my buddy died like 20 times before we could beat him, and my friend died just right before I landed my final attack on him. We had a hard time trying to bring him down.
Thank you for the quick breakdown with Mohg! Eleonora's Poleblade is definitely a weapon I will try this time. Among so many others of course. I still have not beaten Elden Ring and I got it on release lol
A good time to properly playthough it with a fresh character this time! Rise Tarnished!
Good luck!
@@Tenkiei Thanks! and good luck to you too !
I beat Mohg in 2 attempts. Dex / Fai build with bleed - Rivers of Blood
1) watch as many videos as you can and learn from others. Big help.
2) used mimic tear does bleed damage w/ RoB but mostly a distraction for Mohg.
3) during phase 1 use Mohg's shackle twice and piled on as much damage as possible for 2 seconds each.
4) while Mohg was distracted by mimic tear I got Rot Breath on him. I tried a few poison pots the first time but it didn't seem to work and waisted time that should have been used bleeding him.
Grats on the win. Rivers of blood is definitely a great weapon to use. I didn't think to try something like Rot Breath myself but it probs would have helped.
You can also get mohgs shackle to pin him to the ground, but you can only use it twice and only in phase 1.
Thank u
You're welcome.
I have 700 hours in Elden ring and I just found out today how trash I really am
I just beat the DLC at 70 hours and decided to make a fresh Brand New character and all I did with this character is Bodrick and formed to become level 100 with a six moon Vale and I can barely get this guy to half health no summons
Elden Ring does do that. I was feeling pretty confidant after completing a good chunk of the base game and downing several DLC bosses, then I walked into Maliketh's arena...it was rather humbling.
Wait you said your fighting godrick, with a +6 moonveil, at level 100 and can’t get it no summons? If that’s the case, I would not continue the run without summons, I’ve been doing a no summons run and it gets much much worse. I in no way mean to make u feel bad but godrick is a very easy boss compared to most others, and I think you’ll just end up quitting the game if you keep trying to go no summons.
@@spend03 oh man I just realized I completely botched my last comment. So I tried to start a fresh new level 1 character and it took me about 6-7 hrs to beat rahdan and at least GET TO MOHG but I was stuck at mogh so I left and came back with a +6 moonvale and had to summon a friend and got in the dlc by the 11 th hour

I went through the whole base game turtling with the manor towers sheild and it's been a breeze. Only now at the very end are fights introducing mechanics which are forcing me to relearn the game
😮
I beat mogh in 3 tried lets go!!!
Nah, cuz I don't learn from his delayed attacks
How I beat him: I got good.
;)
