It’s more about the principle. Maybe Leon wasn’t the right one to be in charge of everything but he could’ve got something. I played a show with Leon this year for Jimi’s Birth day, it was awesome to sit down with him and hear about Jimi’s childhood like never before, poor guy had to legally fight to keep his own last name. To William Armstrong- ...yes he was.... and so was/is Billy. I just listen to this by itself. Such a groove...... Billy is a Bass player; not a disgusted guitar player. You can hear the love in Billy’s playing. I have my work cut out for me - to play along with this
