It’s sad, they’re basically talking about how they heard of this one girl talkin about freedom and using her as an example and fantasizing about how life would be like to have no pressure cause they know as long as they live this lifestyle of fame people will always expect something out of them
honestly, my interpretation was that jesse was talking about drugs. paradise could be referring to the high, and he keeps saying that it’s never enough. and he says, “i’ll never have control,” and i think he’s saying he can’t overcome his addiction.
