Nothing better than cheesecake on Christmas day. Your certainly right Australia post isn't the fastest . Love the chocolate tasting. Yay first to watch and comment!
@@birdsong62 believe it or not - it was actually in the fresh dessert section of Cole’s! Not too sure if it’s just a seasonal thing but saw it still in there this morning :)
Happy Holidays Dow! I still remember my first Christmas here on the beach 18 years ago like it was yesterday. The Lucky Country indeed. 🏖 I'm telling Yo-Chi you cheatin' on them!
@@OpalAuctions53Frogs and a very happy holidays to my favourite opal man! So grateful to have experienced a Christmas here, hopefully many more to come - noooo please there were shut Christmas Day 🥹
Glad you enjoyed your first Aussie Christmas. Did you enjoy the pavlova? Also just was curious what the book you were reading on the beach was. You didn’t end up mentioning it once there and I’m always keen for a good self care book. 🎄❤️🎅🏻
Thank you so much, am actually making a pavlova this weekend instead so will report back! It’s ‘the creative act’ by Rick Rubin - enjoying it so far; is rooted in the connection between our creativity & spirituality. Lots of advice on how we create, be authentic in it and have fun doing so. Exactly what I’ve wanted to read going into a new year and maybe shooting videos a little differently on this channel!
@@debbiematthews981 always love to pass on books when I’m finished with them, shoot me a message on instagram or an email if you’re interested and I’ll ship it over to you if you’re Aussie based :)
Happy Christmas, Isabelle, I am glad you are enjoying yourself. But, a word of advice: they are not tan lines, they are burn lines. You have beautiful unaged skin. Please don't make the mistake that Australian women make & go for a tan. Tanned skin is really burned skin & prematurely aged skin. I hope you continue to enjoy yourself.
I certainly do need to have one, luckily my partner and I are having a full faux-Christmas day together this weekend where pavlova will be involved! (So not missing out just yet)
@IsabelleeDow making the meringue base is the only tricky bit, after that just top with whipped cream and fruits like passionfruit, kiwi and berries. You can buy pre-made ones but check the sugar level, I've had one from Coles that was a sickly sweet 90%. But fresh is always best
Good luck with youtube in the NY. Great to see someone who is coming from a spiritual/inner focus and wanting to sharing it with others 🧡🌈
@@birdsong62 thank you so much sweetheart :) am so pleased to hear this and hope to share more of that in the ny
Jake is a well spoken Aussie guy. That's cool your Xmas went well.
He is indeed! Teaching me all the Aussie slang and phrases too…
Happy Xmas to you and Jake,he seems a real nice guy.
@@PatriciaMegna thank you so much, hope you’re having a lovely festive season also. He’s such an angel, very lucky to have him in my life :)

I am a local I was wondering where you brought the cheese cake. It looked good. 😊 nice to see you enjoying the summer in Noosa 🌺

Exactly, forgot how nice it was to have that time :)
What a beautiful Christmas day!

cheesecake? Its Christmas, you need a *pavlova* !

@ ooo perfect thank you, I’ll try make it from scratch today :)
@IsabelleeDow yep you can keep the meringue in the fridge overnight so then on Xmas day all you've gotta do is add the cream and fruit
No you dont. I have cheese cake every year as it is my birhday cake.
Pav is overated and Kiwi.
The background music makes it hard to understand what your saying sorry
Haha I realised after publishing it was way too loud apologies!
Nice music, but it would have been good the hear all you were saying.
Haha my fault for editing this one too quickly, won’t be making the same mistake again!
