I keep putting off starting my first Sanderson book because they are such a commitment, but I think it's time I finally try! And I totally agree with you regarding Bridgerton, and my issue is that they felt they had to change Colin so much this season to make his "sexy" the way the Duke and Anthony were. The actor just can't pull that off for me. Colin is attractive because of his sweetness and kindness, which I felt the actor played well in previous seasons, and it would have been so much hotter to see him and Pen explore their attraction and sexuality together as equals. His character arc was not compelling and it made his character dull and tropey. Nicola Coughlan has so much charisma and charm and it made him fall that much flatter in contrast.
