The younger generation sees Tiesto play at a big music festival and likely has no idea that he was a maestro of Trance many years ago putting out masterpiece after masterpiece. I'm a firm believer that classic Tiesto is as good as it gets in electronic music.
This is now a 20 year old album. I remember how taken aback I was with this song when Just Be came out. This is by far one of my favorite Tiesto productions ever. Crazy going back to a song I listened to when I was in the 10th grade…. The nostalgia is insane.
I wish Tiesto turns back to what he does best, these are master piece than compared to what he produces these days. Much of a misery indeed, the old Tiesto, being missed by millons.
Music is being consumed faster and faster so more songs are being produced but the quality in terms of structure and or originality has gone down the toilet. The songs compiled in the In search of sunrise series were also killer.
I saved a bit of cash with my first job in a grocery store in order to buy this album when it came out. I don't remember the year. Every track on this album is special. I have a special affinity with Tiesto's work that I just don't have with other DJ's.

Same brings me back to many nights spent in pure ecstasy listening to this in repeat every weekend 🤣 good times clean MDMA and the nostalgia lol 2004 was like insane cuz it was really hard to find any quality back then in that gap between like 1999-2001 when it was all clean n then around 02-04 it started getting cut but it was a lot more rare then it became each year after until about 2008 it made a huge comeback and there was clean molly everywhere again 😂 we figured may as well get at it while it was still around cuz how hard it was to come by for many years between lol and the same was true it took a decade to find more after 2010 lol the last time I found any was 2018 and it just didn't hit the same it was clean n good but just didn't feel as good as the stuff we had back then and I know it's not tolerance or w\e else or something like that cuz I took breaks and lost the magic then found it again lol. But yeah it really hasn't been the same since 2010 on so I guess I'm glad I got to live through those good times lol especially if I knew what the future would bring yeah I might have done more now that I think about it lol I didn't go hard enough but that's highly circumstancial AF lol. Anyway good times even better music I get high off the music alone now well weed helps but that's med weed lol
Oh mine too & this was like a year after we broke up we were on n off again damn I don't wanna get into this story is so sad I miss her so much rip she was murdered the tldr is she was given what she thought was coke when it was oxy and she was opiate naive no tolerance& she od then when she said she thought she was coming down asked for more Coke and they gave her more oxycodone and she was already on clonopin Xanax Valium beer weed adderol coke and then they gave her half an oxy these were the 80s back then n then she ended up od they drove around 6hr with her seizing turning black m blue throwing up and agonial breaths with the foam out the mouth the guy who did it pulled an if I can't be with u no one can cuz she broke up with him n we were going to get married legit we already promised to by 21 if we were both single and then this happened while ironic enough I was in rehab for the same drugs that killed her only I was in it legit for pain sad cuz I never felt that way about anyone ever again I pray that 1 day I find someone who feels like a soul mate maybe even more perfect IDK we were only like 15-19 met at 15 and then she passed away when I was 27. I think IDK my math is off anyway there's no short way to tell this story lol.
