if anyone else is getting the "please close ace-base before starting the game". This is because you also play NIKKE , wuthering waves, or another game that uses the ACE Anti-cheat engine. Restarting should fix your issue, and if it doesn't try manually closing the process in task manager.

After tons of time trying other things, including a start from scratch factory reset- this video fixed the entire issue. It came down to that “repair” add to the target name forcing a fix. Nice work!

U all running of AMD Cpus? Its probably because of that. Older Amd cpus don’t support SSE4.2 and Epic made it a min requirement recently. That is why the game crashes before it even starts.

My issue is that my Fortnite is stuck on logging in. I am on pc
So what worked for me was that I launched Fortnite from files desktop (while launching it, stay tabbed out of Fortnite, you can be on like discord or files) then it said that I didn’t launch it the correct way so it closed the game. Then I opened epic games launcher and then launched it from there (again stay tabbed out of Fortnite and you can go back on it to click something if it asks something) then basically it worked.
