Well, We had some family business in Florida, so we figured we would try to explore it a little more. Its a very interesting place, just to hot and too crowded for me. Glad we went. Thanks for the comment ! Stay safe!
My wife and I have camped around Florida this week. Tonight is the last night for this trip We stayed at O'Leno, Collier-Seminole, a couple of county parks, Kissimmee Prairie last night and Tonight is Weweki Spring
Nice area, I have visited several times to Naples/Ft. Myers area. Did some kayaking and a nice boat ride through the everglades. Thanks for sharing......
I'm trying to make mine, looking to get into the upper wilds of Maine at the end of July, but can't find much info about whats up there and where to go!
(google translate ?)
Its pretty amazing how the site 1-14 are so nice and then from 15-135 are just packed in there. And up the street is a NF campground for $15 with hot showers, no hookups, but that's where I'll go next year !!
Nice video. You didn't get into Loop "A" because no RVs. Tent only. Mosquitoes are horrible anytime of year. Marco Island has 2 Public Beaches, Tigertail and South Beach which are free to use for Collier County Residents. $8 parking for visitors. Thanks for visiting my home. ✌️❤️
What a variety camping units and styles were represented as you gave us a thorough review of the campsites themselves. Thanks for helping us plan ahead. Mosquitos already! How do you and Akela deal with them?
Big ass gators! I guess you don't have your choice of camp spots when you reserve? Delaware SP's are a little too tight for my liking also. Thanks for your video!
I've been watching your videos for a long while. I need to know which of the sikaflex products you've had the best luck with. Attaching the bubble window back to the camper?. And then which product to seal the the edge of the windows. Is the 505uv good to reattach the window or the 221 sika better?
I leave my Camper set up in the open sun down here in NC. I see the caulk liquidfying and running down the wall of the camper. It might not be a big deal, I may have just "Over caulked". But John Pfeil of Midwest Aliner repair has been expounding on using pure silicone sealant/caulk. So, while I know at my prior employer we use the sika flex to "Glue Together" Freightliner trucks. And the 221 is what the Aliner Factory was using when I visited there in 2017. But I see the new ones are coming out with pure silicon as the predominant sealant/adhesive. I'll be back at the factory in June. We'll see what they are using.
@@GoingNoWhereFast so are you saying that the 221 will do both?. Adhere the bubble window and seal the seam? I'm wanting to re adhere it to the camper then seal the outside seam.
Very nice park. But the creatures would creep me out. Especially for my dog & kitty. Be careful of the Burmese Pythons & Eastern Diamondbacks, coral & water moccasins.
Snakes don't tend to stick around to be seen much less a bother. The gators on the other hand do stalk dogs, of any size. It was interesting to watch a very large gator get up off his sunning spot to walk towards Akela. Back in the car to a new spot to throw sticks...lol
Another great video Rick 🙏❤️ enjoyed it a lot . Stay safe
Thanks Miles!
Awesome, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Really nice park Rick, I’m happy that Akela & You are enjoying your time on this trip

Nice James, but you have to give me more ! What was good, what was bad, and were you in an Aliner?

Nice....we're still froze in up here.....but I'm making my camping plans for the summer!!!

@@GoingNoWhereFast Campendem has places listed…both public and private, cost and free sites.
@@ADKMan Thanks, I'm in the early stages of planning, and its sure true my regular sources are lacking!! We will check Campendium

Bedankt voor de opmerking. Blij dat je het in jouw omgeving kunt zien. Ik hou van mijn EU-kijkers.
It's a nice campground but yes everyone is right next to each other. I stopped there last year. 👍

Thanks for the info!
I figured out where you were staying. This place looks pretty nice.
Ya, its in the title and at the front of the video. Have you had your coffee yet??lol
The park looks nice , and the weather is great no snow haha
No snow, but there were mosquitoes... I prefer snow !!
You give me food for the fodder. Purchased a pop up year before last pre-retirement. Plan on making good use of it.
Good for you, But don't do too much planning, just GO!!
In case you haven't figured it out yet, those sites are tent only sites.❤
Ya, I did see that in the reservations, I wonder if they really check, I saw a few vans in them.
@@GoingNoWhereFast I noticed that too. We are heading to the park next week for a few days. I'm going to check the area out and see what all is there.
As usual, another well done video... Love the HC launch.. I would have taken the Boat Ride, love being on the water!! THANKS!!
They wouldn't let me bring Akela, so it wasn't a possibility. Too hot to leave him in the car!

We use permitherins primarily, and long sleeves and mosquito netting when necessary

Well, I just made the reservation and didn't really look at the satellite or other videos, or I would have known better.
That is a very nice park and I love the kayak and canoe launch. Compared to the campgrounds in Pa those lots are VERY spacious.
I just made reservations at 3 PA parks for this summer. You just need to know the campground and pick the good sites!
