You should actually apply a very light coat of spray cooking oil which does two important things: 1. Creates a much better golden finish to your waffles 2. The spray will insure you have full release of the waffles when done. In the video, the man puts on too little batter and the waffles are slightly undercooked.
No. This is very bad advice. Do not use any oil of any kind on the waffle iron itself. This warning is actually found in the instruction manual. The oil will slowly accumulate on the waffle iron plates and will make the waffles stick. A recipe that uses an egg and a couple of tablespoons of cooking oil will insure the waffles never stick. My KPWB100OB is still working fine and not sticking after years of use. Oh, I keep the first waffles I make with my granddaughters.
What a nuisance! Won't stop turning, so waffles come out misshapen and unevenly done. Heavy as a truck. Too many knobs - easy to overlook. Beeper can barely be heard - no good for a noisy kitchen.
We still have this waffle maker…love it! No wonder they don’t make this particular one anymore.
I'd love to have one... I just can't justify the cost right now.
Wow! That made some beautiful waffles! Why do you have to throw out the first 2 baked? Seems like such a waste of food. :(
That is tasty Jeffmara cooking.
Jeff do you know of a repair shop for this waffle maker. Thanks, cr
I would like to know what is the difference between this pro line and the artisan waffle baker of kitchenaid please!
So, how do you clean it? Just use a brush to brush out the debris?
Yes, with a brush and dry paper towel.
How do you prevent the batter from leaking out as you spin the maker?
It just doesn't.
We were looking how to use it and this come up and we were like um........
si puo avere la ricetta ? Grazie
