Great video! I have a Maker and for about 2 years I've only used it for Vinyl and on a few rare occasions, cardstock. I finally decided to use my Knife Blade to cut craft foam and it did it perfectly! However, after switching back to fine point, my cricut has gone into -45 and 99 error mode 😢 and unfortunately im yet to figure out what went wrong. I have done all the troubleshooting recommended by cricut, but none works. I want to upgrade to a Maker 3 or Xtool M1 but im scared the same thing will happen again with changing blades in the cricut.
Thanks for the information. I saw another video, I can't remember, but they suggested having a small ball of foil. Then you poke your fine point blade to help it clean. What do you think about this tip?

Boogers. I wanted to cut fabrics. Just got an Explorer last week. I should have gotten a Maker☹️
I have cut on my Explore many times with a fine blade and the light grip mat. You do have to bond your fabric to a liner but it can be done.
is there an angle you have to position the blade when you insert it back in the machine? i have read this in the official cricut website
