  • Many don’t know how some new forklifts come to the customer, but contrary to what most may think, they do not arrive upright so we must stand them up after delivery. Enjoy!

So wait if they used a forklift to lift it up, then how did they lift the first ever forklift to ever be made🤯

Wow that was close…on our stand up jigs we bolt on an “L” beam on the jig to keep it from moving less…

Corporate has been testing out some sort of new lifting device, it hasn’t hit the field yet, hoping it does make standing up more stable but I’m use to the lifts moving around a little when we stand them up.

Wow, they were that bad? I've heard some not so good things about Crowns. My old warehouse used Crown exclusively, and something was always wrong with the walkie riders.

Used a Crown for a few weeks 3 years ago, not bad actually, loads of power, nice 360 mode, only thing it needed was a multi-control "stalk" like Jungheinrichs/BT-Refex/Toyota etc or the 2-stick control Linde R14s I used to work with. Would use again if I hadn't retired

Don't get the Crown hate? Warehouse went to Raymonds n they're just not as user friendly as Crowns are....

Same !! Been on crowns with a small small mix of Raymond's my first 7 years on a lift. Recently went to a place that uses exclusively Raymond and I quickly remembered why I always picked the crowns when they were available at other jobs!! These things SUCK!

Is this position safe because of battery? Or you removed battery before horizontal position?

Awful safety planning. It came out right this time, but it won't always be like that! Put safety first! Use a crane.

If the operators drive it without a care in the world, of course they would break down.

@josebaltazar-rafael5492 you must work in a perfect warehouse or have an assigned unit to reply so sarcastically. You know damn well these things break down for all sorts of reasons but the biggest are operator error and lack of mantinance which well is the norm now.

@@mr_trd21district43 yep I’m sure about that, I order them for my company. Crown brings in a flatbed with the lift (cherry picker or reach) laid flat on the back on a big ass pallet. The day before they’ll bring in a skateboard and a sit down. They unload it off the truck with the skateboard, haul it to their setup area in our warehouse. Then they tip it up with the sit down counterbalance and PM the life for us.

@@mr_trd21district43 forgot to ask… how do they get yours in your warehouse? Do you have doors big enough they can drive in a reach with a mast that tall and damage the new tires driving it in? Even if that’s the case they still have to tip it up the same way out side…..
