Melbourne public transport is one of the worst in the world, Sri Lanka’s public transport is thousands of miles times better than Melbourne public transport. Quality of buses and trains are good but quantity sucks. Melbourne is a very car centric city like most American cities. Also New York and London public transport is thousand times better than Melbourne public transport.
I am yet to encounter a snake in Brisbane😅 after 2 years. I am living in the city though. I haven't seen any even in the Forrest/mountains in suburban areas

Average house price in Auckland is more than 1.2 million NZD. You can still buy close to 1 million in deep south or north of Auckland, but still a very small house may be 100 sqm.

Then again, if you live in LA/NY why would you eat at a fast food place? 🤔 Nothing is free here, including Healthcare. But if you are employed health insurance comes along. If you are low income you can get state/fed sponsored reduced rate insurance. Gun violence is there but depends on your personal choices. Nothing is free here, including Healthcare. But if you are employed health insurance comes along. If you are low income you can get state/fed sponsored reduced rate insurance.
Gun violence is there but depends on your personal choices. There is the case of wrong place wrong time but that's a universal fact.
