Thank you for your vulnerability in this video. I think we hold our emotions in and take care of everyone else until it gets to a point of needing a release. I cried with you in the car! Raising kids is not for the faint of heart! Your channel is helping me to be content, real, honest with myself, and to be able to simplify while navigating our crazy world. God is using you in more ways than you’ll ever know to reach so many people! Thank you!! 🥰
At 41 y/o, I have learned that life lessons are cyclical and instead of conquering our particular issues, we only move the bar each time a particular issue comes around. You aren't alone. It's what makes your channel and you beautiful... that it's (we are) ALL projects of growth. ❤
Hi Heidi and Margaret! Heidi, what you said so beautifully it's the perfect truth💝 Margaret, your feelings are the way you're letting growth happen💝 You're a sweet, sweet lady!
Learning that now. Looking back and reading past journals and feeling SO discouraged that I'm writing and praying the same things now. But you're right. It's like coming back to it, and the circle gets a little bigger every time before you come back to it. Thanks for sharing that.
You may not read this but it’s okay and I really want to let you know 😊🙏🏼 Thank you for this raw honest transparent video. As you started speaking about the Bible and your connection with God, it immediately made me cry and I started praying 🙏🏼 Honestly music (some Gospel music) brings me to this stage or deep prayer. Thank you so much for bribing this to my evening by sharing this video. I am very selective with what I listen to and what I watch (even with your videos-I’m being transparent here) and I am grateful for you sharing your own experience.
Goodness. Crying with you. Thank you for your vulnerability and sharing your truth. Im in my "healing era" of life and can so relate. Im feeling like, even though I dont know you all in person(other youtube ladies, Madi Gray etc), I have a village through your content and its helping me navigate the path Im walking on and making my heart feel understood. Im so grateful for all of the beautiful content. Thank you♡
Contentment is an ongoing work in our lives. Thank you for sharing so vulnerably. God is so faithful with his loving reminders to come and approach the throne of grace boldly. ❤
I just adore you 🥹🥹 thank you for being so real and honest! You’re such a breath of fresh air 🌱🦋🤍 God is good! I love that you share Him in your life, it’s truly encouraging 🌷
I love your videos because they make me feel like I’m not alone in the overwhelming journey of taking care of other people and also having other responsibilities ❤ but at the same time I would never wanted any other way, it’s a privilege to live a simple life these days.
Yes about writing letters. My cousin is really good about this. I’ve never really been a letter writer….but as I get older I’m thinking I need to prioritize it more.
I hear you. Your videos have spoken directly to my soul for a year now and tonight when I felt overwhelmed I found such comfort in watching you. I’m a stay at home working mom and it’s so hard to do good work and also be a good mom. I constantly feel like I’m not content enough. So thank you for always being honest.
I have neverrrrrr commented on anything! Haha! But I needed to say Margaret you are such a beautiful soul! I appreciate your wisdom and encouragement and walk with the Lord, everything you share here. So so sooooo relatable to this fellow mama of two, trying to serve my family & God the best I can. Thank you for sharing! ❤️
These words are so kind and encouraging, Kylie! Thanks for saying something. I'm getting emotional reading everyone's comments. It's VERY clear that we're not alone. I'm so touched, and so glad you're here ♥️.
So happy I found your channel! I have been decluttering for a few months now and have started to discover the benefits of minimalism. I have had a huge shift in my mindset and life in general. So grateful to be able to follow your journey 🙏.
Thank you for your raw honesty. I also struggle with radical acceptance of what is. This winter in particular has been brutal, but I know that God provides.
-Try lemon essential oil to remove unwanted artwork off your headboard! -We love “my octopus teacher” on Netflix! -What ideas do you have for cultivating contentment?
Your channel has everything for me! I feel like it was a God thing in a goofy way.. I followed you recently after a minimalism video but had no clue you were a believer. Makes my heart feel so full to hear you talk about your journey ❤️
Margaret, you are such a lovely person. I am blessed to have discovered your channel. I always look forward to your videos. You are so honest, humble, and inspiring. I just love and look up to you. Thank you for what you do💗
I never comment but I LOVE your account and you have become my favorite UA-camr since I found you. I love the rawness and vulnerability as well as the goals and striving for better. Shows your life isn’t perfect and makes it more realistic. I’m on a decluttering and non toxic journey and I look up to you. I would love more Christian content or parenting advice! Would you be open to making a Bible study video?
Never feel ashamed for just opening your Bible and asking God to speak. Those times have been some of the most important and meaningful moments with God, for me. He is a real God, and he knows where we are and what we are walking through. Be encouraged today. God has you and your family in His hands. Thank you for your channel and being real.
I got so emotional watching the part in the car. Beautiful how God talks to us. I have the same struggle and it was probably good for me to hear this today so THANK YOU! Thank you for being so vulnerable and opening up to us in the good and the bad. Thank you for being such an inspiration and encouragement 💞 God bless you
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH- I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD IS SO PROUD TO BE YOUR FATHER. SURRENDER, SURRENDER AND SURRENDER. YOU ARE AN AMAZING MOM AND WIFE! XOXO
I love your raw honest videos! The past two months have been some of the absolute hardest times for me in 20 plus years of marriage. Seeing and accepting realities when you really want them to be different, trying to understand why things are the way they are, and giving grief and sadness room is so very hard. There’s life and the promise of more life but at the moment it’s hard. You remind me to keep my routines, know my limits, and keep growing. Lots of love!
Made me tear up reading this, Audra. Sending so much love to you. I'm sorry you're carrying all of that right now, just never forget how capable you are of doing so. ♥️
Hi Margaret. Thank you so much for this video! I feel that we have a lot in common (down to living in a 2 bedroom apartment as a family of 4!) and I got so emotional when you were talking about a season of waiting. It was such a lightbulb moment for me and I feel like I am in that too. I just wanted to say that I appreciate you being so open and vulnerable, it really helps x
Thank you for sharing- it helps, it truly does. I googled how to get ink out of headboard: Mix baking soda and water to make a paste. Use a damp cloth to spread paste over ink. Rub back and forth until ink comes out. Hope it helps!
Two things: I have used a magic eraser for ink stains. We are also used isopropyl alcohol to get ink out of carpet so I'm guessing it would work for the headboard. Next with your advice I'm reminding your spouse that you are on the same team is spot-on! Just verbalizing that to each other deescalates the argument quickly. My husband and I even use that phrase with our seven children. It's good for them to know that we are all on the same team working together.
I saw your cute lil baby bump when you turned in the bathroom mirror! So happy for you! I have 3 boys and having a third definitely adds some Chaos to the family but you have such a great foundation in place that I’m sure you will handle it very gracefully and effortlessly ❤
Love your videos Margaret 💕 I’m a stay at home & work at home mom too and it can be so hard to feel like I’m thriving! I feel reminded by your content to edit away the things that are not truly bringing life & blessing to our home & family & days.
lemon essential oil takes off pretty much everything. not just if your head board is sealed though so if its not I wouldn't try it with a lot because it may change the color of the wood
Hello beautiful soul! Mother of 5 here! Let God guide you on your children....I thought I was really done and literally waited 7+ years telling myself and everyone we were done having babies. Then the Lord prompted me to have my 5th baby. I have a 16 1/2 year old, 14, 11, 8 and a newborn; and an 8 year gap between the 2 youngest. I wouldn't change anything especially now that she is here! 🥰
You’ve become one of my favorite UA-camrs ❤ love your honesty and vulnerability and transparency… you give me hope to embrace the imperfection, lean on the Lord, and to grow
So kind of you to say, Alyssa. Honestly, I can't take the credit. The Lord is walking me through this chapter of life and allowing me to use the words to share and help other people and you. I'm just so humbled, especially after reading all of these comments. None of us are alone! Thanks for saying this, Alyssa. I'm so glad you're here. ♥️
Thank you for answering my question on what ur reading I also have 3 self help books on the go when needed and I cannot relate to this whole video more!! I too am going thru 9 months of HARD times and u sharing that, made me love ur channel even more!
Thanks once again for sharing your vulnerability! While it certainly helps to practice contentment in each season while dreaming and waiting for the next, I always have to remind myself that lingering wanting feeling will always be in this life as we will never feel truly whole because what is lacking is our reunion with God in our permanent home in heaven and only then will we be truly whole. I do find that minimalism and awareness of being grateful for what God has given us now truly does help because it limits those highs of buying the "must haves" only to hit that low quickly when you realize that doesn't fulfill your soul. I find that I have to stay in His word and remember His promises. Hope you have a great week!
Hi Margaret, I found this Christian audiobook, so helpful for our marriage by Shaunti Feldhahn called "What you need to know about the inner lives of men". She gives keys on how, when we as women respond to our husband/sons, we will get a certain result just because that is the way a man is designed by God. Once I understood these keys about men it has been life changing. They also have one for men to better understand their wives called "A straightforward guide to the inner lives of women" which I bought for my husband (was life changing for him) I also listened to and I even learned somethings about myself. Would highly recommend.
Oh Margaret you make me cry because I am still working too in my life because I could not have babies and I am 51 already. So I need to accept it already and be happy but I am struggling. I have a 9 years old niece that I babysit 5 days a week and she makes my life so wonderful but it is hard because when she leaves I feel very sad and alone. I have and awesome husband that take care of me. So I have to be grateful for that.
Love your videos! I can relate to so much you are sharing. What a precious heart you have. God is with you on the hard days too. Sink into Him. I’m sure you do, but sometimes the emotions over power us. And…. I’m so excited for you 😉. PS lemon essential oil can get the ink off your headboard. 😘
So exiting abt nr 3 🤫 And how amazing that we grow and learn about ourself, sometimes its hard learning.. I realised something about myself today too that was not totally charming but so happy that I can work on myself about it now that this came to me 😅😊 Thanks for good company!
I loved this video so much. Thank you, yet again, for showing me something new and inspiring me. Wish I could pop over for a tea (I’m in Eastern Germany.) Big hugs to you, I definitely can relate to your feelings. x
💜🥰 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:1-3
I’m also in a season of waiting. It’s been stressful and tough (single Income instead of 2). It’s been good for us, learning to live with less...but like….I’m ready to pay all of our bills on time again and not have to pinch pennies. 🤓
What a great video, Margaret. You’re not alone! Would love to learn about your Bible journaling because of your story of how you saw a 2019 entry. Did you write it in a Bible itself?
Can I ask how you "kill time" without screens during your day..? I've been trying sooo hard to get off our electronics, and unfortunately I'm not in the best mental state, our car is broke down, and I don't know what to do with my daughter without making an even bigger mess of my already messy house, and I find myself getting more easily frustrated since I don't know what to do 😓 she's so sperratic and I can't seem to find a way to keep her happy and occupied AND get things done on my few days off
You wait! Hungry teenage boys feels like you are feeding a black hole 😂 Had two, they are now 38 & 31. But boy at one point I felt like the only thing I did was get groceries home and feed them. 😘 oh and wash…
Pen off the wood ... Try dry baking soda. No, don't make a paste, just rub it dry with your bare finger or thumb. I cleaned a white IKEA kids art table (more than once) this way. It came perfectly clean from crayons paint and even sharpie. 👍🏻
I wonder if you are suffering from Cabin Fever? I’m the mother of 4 and I had a tough time staying in especially as we always lived in small homes/apts. I found that mom and tot groups were great. The kids had different toys and other kids to play with and I could make friends with other mothers. In our area these groups are called early learning centres. They made a big difference for me and for my children. Just a thought
You’re pregnant aren’t you 😊 Love your videos, they make more of a difference than you may ever know. God has used you to open my eyes in so many little areas of my life that may seem small but have made such a big impact over time!
when you want to be somewhere in life but cant quite get there: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33 😊

I love how honest you are . The emotions your expressed were raw and relatable.! And your right. We are doing the best we can, so thank you !

Use The Pink Stuff to clean off pen! It cleans almost everything, including Sharpie! Its wonderful to have on hand with kids.
Thank you Margaret for being my comfort channel ❤
My three year old son has been eating more for breakfast than I do lately! So crazy, definitely growing!
Same with the collagen protein powder!!! I put it in our muffins EVERY TIME. super easy to add it to sauces too!

Yes try the alcohol on ink, I’ve used it in our dryer when an ink pen exploded!😮

It’s hard being pregnant- it’s definitely a season to rest and grow a baby! Don’t feel bad if you don’t get a lot done.
Rubbing alcohol and a cotton rag - spray the alcohol and wipe/rub with the cotton rag. Pen, markers and Sharpies disappears. Love 💕 your channel.
Oh Margaret you make me cry because I am still working too in my life because I could not have babies and I am 51 already. So I need to accept it already and be happy but I am struggling. New subscriber to your channel and I really love your content... Hats off to your work 👏👏👏

Thank you! I love watching your vlogs ❤
I really enjoyed getting go follow you around for a day. Thanks for sharing :)
Was that a pregnancy announcement?! 😍 lol
First 1 to view!! I always LOVE seeing there is a new video from your channel!!

Hand sanitizer or anything with a high alcohol content is the bomb at getting ink stains out of things!!
I saw the wink ;)
So exiting abt nr 3 🤫
And how amazing that we grow and learn about ourself, sometimes its hard learning.. I realised something about myself today too that was not totally charming but so happy that I can work on myself about it now that this came to me 😅😊
Thanks for good company!
Sending a little extra love from me Margaret, sometimes we all just need a bit extra ❤
Try hairspray for the pen on the headboard!
Hairspray for the headboard x
We are all on a journey and a work in progress. God's faithful❤️
Amen to that.
this was beautiful. God definitely responds in the most peaceful ways. i hope I can be as calm as you when im a mom
Your hair looks great to me!
Can you link below where you purchase your candles?
Thank you ❤️
I got marker off my door with rubbing alcohol and microfiber cloth so that might work!
I loved this video so much. Thank you, yet again, for showing me something new and inspiring me. Wish I could pop over for a tea (I’m in Eastern Germany.) Big hugs to you, I definitely can relate to your feelings. x
Ah, this is so kind! I'm about to pour myself some tea. Thinking of you, Claudia as I do so. Cheers!

Our Children are ALWAYS hungry, especially after school/kindergarten. 😂
Have you tried Norwex cleaning paste? That helps so many things that accidentally get colored on.
Can you link the cookbook? I can’t find it online
I keep thinking you are already pregnant with a baby girl...and then you WINKED!! ARE YOU PREGO?!!!😍 If so...CONGRATS!!!💛💛💛
Magic eraser works magic!
I love your videos!
The wink!! Are you pregnant?! Yay!!
You can use a little handsanitizer to remove the pen/ink on the bed
Magic Erasers are good to have on hand with kids 😅 so many pen marks off things. My kids like to randomly write on doors.
Can I ask how you "kill time" without screens during your day..? I've been trying sooo hard to get off our electronics, and unfortunately I'm not in the best mental state, our car is broke down, and I don't know what to do with my daughter without making an even bigger mess of my already messy house, and I find myself getting more easily frustrated since I don't know what to do 😓 she's so sperratic and I can't seem to find a way to keep her happy and occupied AND get things done on my few days off
Try magic eraser for the headboard!

I do audio books or i would never get to the end of a book!
You’re pregnant aren’t you 😊

I also think she's pregnant 😉
