- For years I've been looking for a portable, battery powered smoke machine that retails at a sensible price. Is the Lensgo Smoke B Fog Machine the answer I've been looking for? There's only one way to find out and that's to put it to the test in my small home studio.

I brought the ulanzi love it, use it and learning how with toy photography. Lots of fun
I bought this machine about 3 months ago and love it.
I took an eraser off of a pencil and it fits perfectly into the
top of the oil tank.
I have let the machine lay on it’s side for 2 weeks without
a speck of leakage.
After a full charge of the battery, I went 5 weeks without using
it and it still ran for over 10 minutes.
Can’t beat this machine!👍
Darn, I missed the live - I purchased the Smoke Ninja and so far I love it.

Thank you for all that you do for us in the photography industry. I never liked the cost and the size of the water-based ones I love the fact that the smoke on this lingers and the fact that it's so small and portable I just made a purchase from your link. Not sure how far into your video I am but I'm looking forward to seeing you change the smoke color using lighting. But a fantastic idea that somebody finally made one where the smoke last longer the lingering I see is a huge plus and the thickness of the smoke is fantastic. The size and portability makes this thing a winner. Just saw your purple smoke version and now there's absolutely no reason not to go get one of these.

I have the Smoke Genie. Same idea (super vape machine). Much more expensive. Variable smoke output and some nozzles and things to ‘shape’ the smoke. You can also have variable fan speed, too.
It actually looks similar, and I bet some parts are interchangeable.

TPS on a Sunday if travelling by train and coming from south of Birmingham is a challenge as the first train out of Euston doesn’t arrive until after the show has started!. By the time you’ve walked to the hall and cleared security you can miss a 10.30am talk. The show programme on line is also a nightmare to use as it’s split by category, you can’t at a glance see a whole day with who what where. Gavin is they all 4 days but a lot of presenters only go for one or two days. Check out by presenter view as well…. And prepare to empty your wallet with some much kit to buy 😂
Could you change the orientation of the insert in the case to hold the smoke machine ?
Yes you can rotate the insert but that would be a bad idea as you can't move the handle and the "This way up" notice would be upsidedown 🤣
Opening the box upside-down like that is definitely silly. However, is it possible to reorient the insert 180 degrees?
Hmm really good question but one thing you can't move is the handle on the outside. It's a great product which will be even better if they're open to feedback 👍

One more question please: is the alcohol fog juice the same as their other products - the LENSGO Smoke S? Customers claim that juice is very oily and tends to spit out. Thanks for the demo!!!
It is the vaping BASE, not the nicotine or the flavoring.

The fluid comes in 6 small 12ml eyedropper bottles which work fine for filling the tank. So why did you reccomend buying pipettes?
Because I found it a much less messy method for refilling the tank.

Thanks Gavin, but your timing was wrong. I just bought one of the larger foggers. Now, no budget left for this one. Maybe next year.
Put the smok3 with sponge on into a cup and pore it over your subject
I may have missed it but can you replace the battery or charge it while using?
Good questions. No to replacing the battery unfortunately. Probably not able to charge and use but as its time limited to 3 minute bursts (and that's more then long enough) it's not an issue I'd be to concerned about for how I work.
Trying different camera(s)! Something else on the way?

Frankly, a very, very messy video should be cut in the much shorter term, but interesting equipment, but it feels the man in front of the camera is a little crazy messy don't think it serves the machine very much but that's where it is. I had to skip many parts because it was really painful to watch but thanks anyway.
