Pretty much anything is retro to the TikTok generation. Except of course middle parts which they invented 😉. Ah youth. I’m so retro my ‘new’ favorite this month was the rediscovery of good old NARS Orgasm blush.

You and I have similar skin types and I just tried a sample of Chanel's ULTRA LE TEINT Ultrawear All-Day Comfort Flawless Finish Foundation and was really impressed. It has a soft matte finish and wears well all day. I'm thinking of picking it up as a go-to summertime complexion product when I need something that performs in heat and humidity. I have problems with foundations pooling up in my pores but this one applied perfectly evenly. With my combination skin type, the soft matte finish gives my skin a natural finish look. Not a Sephora item but it might be worth a look!

I’m wearing Idole today. I’m mixing it with Jo Malone Red Roses for a garden bomb!
I might refresh a few Sephora brushes and maybe glossier stretch concealer (rms is my jam). The Glossier You scent in a solid has my attention but that might be packaging.
Ok that combo sounds divine I keep meaning to pick up a little bottle of that Jo Malone scent.

No I haven’t!! i only got the sample packs she launched with in the initial shades but I’m very excited to see them expanding the shade range even further
I think you would love Piano Santal from L’orchestre parfum or Sonic Flower by Room 1015 :) both brands that possibly can be found at luckyscent in the us

Lol no! The Gen Z “it girl” Alix Earle has made the NYX eyeshadow pencil in Milk sellout everywhere due to her use of it in the waterline! Very en vogue at the moment with the younger crowd.

I have the VB Picante lip gloss too and originally didn’t like it. However, I paired it with the MAC Spice lipliner and it’s perfect! You should try this combo 😊
I don’t have that lip liner but I agree- the picante gloss is perfectly paired with brownish liners and lipsticks. It has really grown on me ☺️☺️ so glad you were able to make it work too!!
I am low key obsessed with the Buxom glosses! I remember how terrible Lip Venom was so that has always put me off plumpers but this one is like the perfect medium between the cooling tingle that does nothing and the ‘your lips are literally vibrating’ ones. 😂 Definite repurchase. Also adding the Ilia lip balm to my sale cart.
the buxom glosses and the fenty plumping glosses strike a good balance!! they give a plumping effect without being too painful or uncomfortable
Does anyone know the brand of hair clip Sandra mentioned for holding her hair up (instead of a hair tie)? She mentioned it several months ago, I think, as a favorite, if that helps 😅

Have you tried any of the rhode skincare? I see a lot of people using her lip balm. She recently opened up her website for canadians.
No I haven’t tried anything yet! Always hear the most raves about the peptide glazing fluid and the lip balms though.

I like TikTok! Every now and then I stumble upon videos that make me feel ancient and it’s very amusing lol
I use the water fresh touch as a concealer and one pump of touch mixed with the water fresh tint 2 pumps. Magic no makeup up makeup.

Your hair looks amazing. Have you been getting more layers? Loving the Chartreuse! I find chartreuse is very flattering if you have an olive undertone. You definitely put me on to mixing my foundations when they stop working for me seasonally. I used to mix only for shades but I started mixing for formulas because of your advice with the IT CC cream years ago. ✨
It cosmetics was such a good mixer!! and i did get just a few face framing layers :)

Oooohhhh thank you for the reminder on mixing the Chanel tint with others! I have the water fresh tint and forgot that you like mixing it to add hydration. I just mixed it with the original Gucci foundation (trying to finish cuz $$$ but it’s too heavy and pale) while watching and I LOVE it!!
the water tints are PERFECT for mixing especially when you want to add a bit of life to a matte formula. Glad you discovered a new combo you love!!
I am currently down to the nub on my waterline pencil by Urban Decay called Walk of Shame. It's the perfect subtle creamy beigey, neutral color. I've been looking for it's replacement and that Sweed pencil may be just the ticket. I don't give a hoot what the Tik Tock crowd says. I definitely will buy a full size Idole because I blew through the travel size fast. I always if possible buy a travel size before paying for a full size perfume. Are you going to share your Sephora picks with us?
I like getting a travel size first too! it’s a great test to see how much I love a fragrance. Sometimes a travel size is just enough. I will do a Sephora video top 10 style like I did last year and also share what’s in my cart 🥰
Lining the waterline with a brightening pencil is not retro at all! I use the Victoria Beckham (VB) one and it’s really good! I think lining your waterline with a chalk white liner may be considered retro but not the one you mentioned or the VB one 🌸💕

Hi Sandra! Do you use the Merit serum before or after SPF? Before the foundation.
I typically use it on clean skin and apply my moisturizer and spf on top. if I use it before going out in the evening I use it alone on clean skin and apply foundation right on top! I see people applying it after SPF so it can work that way too, just gotta see what works best for you, it would depend on the kind of spf you’re using.
Your favourites videos are so good! The Makeup Forever foundation can do no wrong! I like to mix it with my MAC Face and Body. When I still had the Lancome Teint Idole foundation in my collection, I used to mix the face and body with that too. ❤
Lancome Teint Idole was a great mixing foundation!! I heard that they recently reformulated it and it’s apparently not as good so that’s annoying 🥲🥲🥲

I'm not on tic tok it's silly to me especially when some teenager uses a product that's been out for years and they think they have discovered something new.
It’s fun to see the cycles come and go in beauty and fashion as we get older, BUT DONT COME FOR MY BRIGHT WATERLINE PENCIL 😄😄😄
