I do not understand what is happening in this video. The steel was not beveled so what was the point. I also have a laser welder and it is an amazing tool, but the steel must be beveled if it is that thick.

why weld 1/2 plate when it will only penitrate 1/16 inch deep waste
they would get better strenght if they would glue the 2 parts toghether. probably great for someone who does thin metal working because with mig and even tig is a pain in the ass to control distortion due to heat, this seems to keep the weld wite narrow and relatively cold so won't distort much. for anything that is thinccer than a penny better use something like mig
Thank you for your professional comment. 2kw welded 6mm stainless steel and 4mm galvanized sheet penetration welding no problem. We have been test it before. You can see this video for 4mm galvanized sheet penetration.

It would be a lot easier to for us to convince our bosses to buy these if you spent less time in your set up. If you would set up some production parts and weld them with whatever jigs and fixtures are normally used to hold them in place for normal GMAW production and weld them up with your laser, and make a side by side comparison of the process time vs GMAW, like a race to make ten widgets, I think you would garner a lot more enthusiasm from the bean counters.
It's no need more time to learn. Most our customers learned it about 2 hours no matter you have expereince or not.

It looks nice, probably for thin metal but it do not have penetration, for cut I believe that laser concentrate in 0.1mm spot and cuts very good with high pressure N2, or 02 but for welding I believe that is not for high quality forniture or metal parts, you need to prove the deep penetration, also for weld 12 mm you have to do biezel to one plate so you you have to do penetration by layers using pulses or spots to build a heavy weld so this is just for sale but any person to know about welding knows that it do not penetrate.

Deep welding ..depend how much speed of wire is and gap too allow penetration........

Yeah, I agree!!! Snakeoil unless there is a cut and etch. They don't even show the backside of the weld to show heat distortion or color change.

I crack this with my hands, the “A” measure doesn't fit at all, nice to look at but useless for heavy steel construction, also too many parts that can break and without additional material? that's maybe better for thin sheet things!

Engineers must wear their eyes if they work for a long time, otherwise the eyes cannot look directly at the laser for welding. At that time, we said that the carbon steel material is black. The welds were spot welded, so he took his eyes off. We recommended that customers wear glasses during normal work.
Looking at the laser for a short time does not do much harm to the body, when you can't look directly at it.

Every video I see now everybody seems to put down music in the background it tells you nothing about the product or what it can do and why would I want to spend money on a product that doesn't give me proper technical information get rid of the damn music and talk about the product if you can't speak English find somebody that can do it for you or use a program called Takia.
How are you to do text to speech and add that to the video instead of the music.

If you want to appeal to western buyers, you probably want to adhere to Western standards of safety.
