Other than that 27 point 2nd quarter against Pitt, and the 2nd Half against UF, this UT defense has been outstanding. Clearly the production out of that D has been the most pleasant surprise so far. This D will keep us in games this year.
Even at that, some of their issues could be due to their time on the field compared to the offense. This defense has played great so far. We’ll see where they are at the end of the season. I still don’t see them dropping off anytime soon with that thought in mind.
Excellent offense can make opposing defense look worse than it really is. Is CJH changing the game fundamentally? The more I watch his concept the more I see his genius. Spread, simplify, preparation, balance, and discipline. His perception regarding the individual players internal struggle with themselves and team cohesiveness is fundamental to improvement and development. I think we are seeing something unusual.
You Children are right this week on a number of points. The team cannot buy into what somebody referred to as "Rat Poison."...The second thing is : The linebacker play from the unexpected ones. Aaron Beasly??? Solon Page....They just seem to have a lot more "want to."...THERE....That's my dose of "Rat Poison". We got a good coach in LB Coach Brian Jean-Marie...Watched him closely at South Fla...He is a keeper. Banks deserves the Kudos, as well. BE WARE THE "RAT POiSON."
I disagree that Tillman is not an athletic. He is very athletic and WILL play in the league (probably round 3 if he stays)! Also. Velus IS an NFL Prospect ( round 3 or 4)
I love em both but Velus will prob be drafted late and Tillman is late to undrafted. If Calloway went undrafted and Juan went in the 7th then I just don’t see him getting drafted in top 5 rounds

I think they're late round to undrafted level guys
