And they sure got the messages across, in the most melodious, refined and direct way. When their two heads came together behind the microphone, something very special happened. Great , great comment. All one has to do is really listen to the music, and reflect on how important it was to us as we grew through those early years. I was only 7 or 8 when they were at their peak, but the message and the way it was delivered transcends time. Even a child gets it. As relevant today as it was then.

Para mi el cover mas hermoso que han sacado de esta canción es el grupo noruego A-HA.

I went to see the Everly Brothers with my Dad on December 1st 1985 at the Apollo in Oxford. I will never forget it.
I saw them in 1984 Syracuse NY, The very best!!!!
I was lucky enough to be the right age for the sixties, took it for granted the unsurpassed sounds of that era.
Very sad to know of Phil's passing. I grew up to their music in just about every place I was as a young girl and young woman. The Everly Brothers are like old friends. RIP Phil and condolences to the family he left behind.
