i have never seen Manipur wedding before. india is so beautiful, there is a style difference of weddings in every corner of the country, yet we all share some elements of it. i am proud of india
Yes specially with Manipuri Brahmins we share lots of things wiith Bengali and Mithila and some with orisssa, becoz this north indian were migrat to manipur in ad 15 which lter marriage some Manipuri girl and
we are the generation of that and we modified some and remains some due to that we have lots of common .

Being a Telugu I can relate to some aspects of the wedding as it was a Hindu wedding but also different and beautiful in so many ways, It was like a culture outside Home but Inside. Amazing

but the meitei culture is a blend of Hindu Vaishnavite and indegenious Sanamahi which makes it very rich.
There is predominantly two ancient religion one is sansmaran and then hinduism ......but missionaries are after them like hell to convert them
