It got to the point where she was hearing demons and or satan speaking to her, telling her horrible things. Praising God that he delivered her. She has been clean now for 6 years. Dont stop praying! A great book on this subject is "Pharmakia" by Robert Orem Jr. I suggest all addicts keep it to pass on to other addicts. It will open the eyes on how drug use is absolutely Witchcraft, and always has been.

I have had experiences in Africa as I was a missionary sent out by God. I was put in a situation in a village near Sudan where I was asked to be the guest preacher. For the first time, I saw a woman demon possessed slithering like a snake on the dirt floor.
I had never been in a situation like that. I choose to scoot down in my seat on that platform so I could see how these pastors deal with this demon. However, the lead pastor came over to me, grabbed my hand and threw me off the stage to cast out the demon. I landed next to the woman on the ground. The demon in that woman. Communicated to me by spirit. He was mocking me, and saying “you don’t know what you are doing.
I agreed, then communicated, your right satan, I don’t know what I am doing, but I do come underthe authority of Jesus. In His name I command you go come out of this woman” it left, and the woman was returned to her right mind.
I had on the job training during my 14 years in Kenya.

As a woman with the gift of spiritual discernment I just loved this teaching,the world is becoming increasingly evil and demon activity is on the increase but we must not jump to emotional and irrational conclusions.
These demons are liars, manipulators,and distractors from truth.
Also remember,God did not give us a spirit of fear,but of power,love,and a sound mind.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.❤

I also have the gift of discernment. It’s hard when you know that someone is demon possessed due to seeing the dark eyes, etc…
But I have not found any leader who can tell me what to do Biblically.
I have been harassed for over 4 years by a female neighbor. I know she is demon possessed. I’ve prayed for wisdom and asked if I’m being deceived and I’m not about this. Yes I’ve asked The Holy Spirit to examine myself multiple times.
But nobody can tell me what I can do to cast it out. I’ve tried. Anything and everything to rid this spirit.
I hope Jack Hibbs will do a follow up on this. It was an intro but I’m left with “ok now what?!”

Please pray for my daughter, Cathy. She was raised Christian, yet has now chosen to reject God and is practicing witchcraft and astrology. You are not alone Cathy. My son Matthew has been raised Christian and has been a believer for 40 years but a few years ago he started talking about possibility of ‘other gods’. Now he stopped speaking to me because I refused to deny God or stop mentioning God. I will never deny God so he stopped speaking to me. I tried to not mention God and keep talking to hopefully help change his mind but I mentioned God without knowing I had but he stopped talking. His dad told him that was a silly reason to stop talking to me but he stopped talking to his dad. He has really started talking about the ‘flat earth’ movement and aliens and astrology and other things. We must have hope and pray.
Yes! I tried to talk to my daughter about God and I could see a change in her eyes. Then she started screaming at me about things from her childhood and blaming me for all of her problems. I could feel the thickness in the air. Spiritual warfare for sure!

I can absolutely identify and understand the despair and heartache of an estranged relationship with a child. I fell into the belief that if you don't speak in tongues, you aren't able to communicate with God as well. I was becoming obsessed with speaking in tongues. God hears me and talks to me just fine! He knows what's in my heart 🙌HALLELUJAH 🙌

Thank you Pastor. Please pray for my son. We thought maybe he was demon possessed. He's on really powerful drugs. As a child, he asked Jesus into his heart. I saw spiritual fruit for many years. The last 10 years he has been so damaged. My heart as his mother is broken. I pray and beg God for his deliverance. Thank you so much for detailing the difference in drug possession and demonic possession. If you read this, please pray for his deliverance. God bless you, and again thank for this teaching.

There's unclean spirits also, that many in Jesus' time were referred to as demon possession, ie the epileptic boy. There is, a difference in that the unclean spirit is one that entered the world upping the curse. It makes people sick. It does not possess. But the illness can cause us much grief that hampers our spiritual growth. It's important to recognize that Jesus dealt with both by command. External or internal, be commanded both to leave. Job's attack on his flesh was by an evil one. But the evil one did not need to possess him to make him miserable and question the Father's allowance of all that He was experiencing even though he lived a righteous life. God said so. But God also gave permission to the evil one to put Job's faith and righteousness to the test. The evil domain cannot touch any who belong to God unless he allows it. I agree with the pastor that no evil spirit can take up residence where the Holy Spirit resides... wouldn't want to, even. They fear the Spirit of God. As Romans says, what can separate us...? Nothing. But, the person who has embraced the darkness and loves it, will find themselves unable to free themselves of the demon that possesses the body to make it do the unnatural and even unwanted actions until Jesus frees them. Cleans their house, so to speak. They will need to come into the light to get free of darkness. And the demon is going to be putting up a fight to not lose it's dwelling place. I don't understand the demonic world 100%, never want to. But Like the pastor I have seen it for real. I have also witness the good angels to enter a place to give strength to the weak, as in the case of Elisha asking for Gehazi's eyes to be opened. I have seen the angelic helper in my home growing up, and lastly at my mother's side to take her home. I have felt them give me strength to do the impossible when the Lord sends them in response to prayers. I am thankful He created these to be his servants of good to his children. I don't believe they need to take possession of humans, like demons do. Angels have the power to manifest in human form when needed. As the case of Lot's rescue tells, and other places in scripture. Even in the new in reference to hospitality. And the evil one masquerades as one of them when he wants to deceive humans, even the believers. May look like sheep but underneath is the wolf. ARMOR UP. LET His Holy Spirit guide you through this evil domain. They have always been here. This is just the ramping up to fever pitch activity. It's good. They must know their time is SHORT. 😊 THAT IS GOOD NEWS. Glory Glory Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus!

My grown daughter was hospitalized for complications of fentanyl. She checked herself out AMA to return to a drug house. Now she’s out there sepsis. Please pray for her deliverance and strength for me to deal with outcomes of this behavior.

Rosa I understand completely. 55 years ago when I was first married into my husbands family we had family gatherings where the siblings would have long loud arguments about one sibling and that was diagnosed with skitsophrenia. It was traumatizing for me at the age of 22 because I’d never encountered such venomous people. They would sit and scream and yell about how demonic she was. I did agree she was scary at times. She disappeared for a few years,leaving her luggage at a major airport, she did hear voices on the radio,she did have terrible nerves, she also had 2 great aunts who were considered to be “mad” in the 1800’s, she was a handful,,,,,,,,,that’s what I had to listen to plus a lot of table banging and outright hate. I couldn’t believe what kind of family this was because my husband never told me half his family listened to Oral Roberts and Tammy Faye Baker. I would get headaches and be dying to get out of there because deep in my heart I felt a twinge of compassion. In later years we did try hard to connect with her and her family(she married another man from the psychiatric facility) and she came to appreciate that. But this family has frightened the dickens out of me several times,because I thought they were the ones who acted possessed. This poor sister in law was born with lousy genetics ( there’s also ADHD in the family and dyslexia) She died a few years ago of cancer but NO she wasn’t possessed. It was the rest of the gang who didn’t know what they were talking about. They didn’t understand the Biblical doctrines. They seemed to find demons behind doorknobs and even accused me of having a child out of wedlock which if they had used their logic knew was ludicrous. In fact I was a naive Mennonite and they were the ignorant ones. I had gone to Bible college and none of them had.
So all I can say is I feel your pain big time. If a doctor says it’s mental illness make sure they take their meds(they don’t always want to because they think they’re being poisoned) but please don’t cast this person onto the demonic trash heap. If they’re on drugs it’s terrible too and I pray you can get them into rehab. I cannot tell you Iam 100% right because I understand evil is on the rise. But it really infuriates me as to how condemning Christians can be.
There have been some horrendous murder cases where children were horrendously murdered in Idaho. Chad Daybell and Lori Vallow cases. That pair deliberately gave their souls over to Satanic thinking and witchcraft so they would qualify for demon possession. Other than that please get a good psychiatrist. I’m only trying to reassure you. Don’t let any charismatic,Pentecostal, claim it and heal it type of people,especially rich rich televangelists influence you. Jack

Don’t even try to cast an “evil” spirit out of someone because some dead relative lived in sin. Don’t even hint at it like you are doing here. It’s a horrible thing to accuse someone of generational curses. In our family it was a sad case of family genetics and they are not curses in the way charismatic folks constantly insinuate. It’s also a curse to condemn a mental,patient into premature hell. It’s an especially wicked thing to try to cast an evil spirit out of someone who is sick.

I was saved through Pastor John Wimber at the Vineyard it was my first time ever hearing a woman screaming and Pastor John addressed it and taught us on what was happening in the back room, we learned! If there’s pastors reading this I’m beginning you please teach on this, we’re experiencing things in so many ways don’t leave the flock unable to defend ourselves against the attacks of the enemy, without knowledge to withstand these things and understanding, please Teach Everything in the Word !!
It's almost like the enemy wants pastors to stay silent about demons. That's exactly how satan would want it. Jesus' entire ministry was casting demons out and healing the sick.
I agree, many don't even talk about spiritual warfare at all and it's tragic. Demonic activity is getting worse and worse. I am so thankful that Pastor Hibbs and Pastor Laurie DO talk about it quite often. I do, too.... and I know people think I'm the crazy lady who is always talking about demons, but I know what I know, and I can't not speak up about it.
Well, I was raised Pentecostal and I happen to be on Fentanyl as prescribed by my doctor…I don’t speak in tongues, never did. I’m just about halfway through so I’ll finish but I’m not impressed so far. Probably for the first time.
If pastors don’t teach all of flock how to deal with these things with the authority of the name ofJesus just as Jesus taught his disciples, then they are accountable for leaving their flock unprepared for the battle we are in. Saying “be careful” is not enough.
Medical Fentanyl prescribtions have a limited dose, that a doctor is allowd to give to a Patient. I dare say that addicts go way over that and they will need it more frequently to get the euphoria, they search for.
And make no mistake, as a Patient one can get addicted to those kind of drugs.

My last patient, his eyes turned black, his neck seemed to disappear, his head got huge and hissed at me. I laughed and told him that "darkness cannot penetrate the light." Also, that I wasn't going anywhere.

I have been praying for my grown children (one is soon turning 54 and the other will be 39 in July) and my brother, who has been a JW elder since the 1960's (he will be 87 in Feb.). I have been praying for all of these since 1978 when I was gloriously saved out of a very, very dark hole I had dug for myself. Through my very, very supernatural experience of the Lord saving me first by bringing His word to me (I was raised on the Bible, the whole Bible including Bible prophecy). He brought verses into my mind I hadn't thought of in years, verses which refuted every lie I was being told as I attended college courses. Next, He began to reveal Himself to me personally as to His characteristics and makeup which I had been entirely deceived into believing were nefarious. Then, He supernaturally revealed to me that the Lord Jesus Christ IS alive and sitting at His right hand "ever living to intercede" for me. His presence filled my kitchen so palpably that I fell on my face on the floor as flatly as I could get my body to be. I remembered the 24 elders throwing their crowns down before the Throne of the Lord God worshipping Him and I knew I would want crowns to throw down before Him in physical demonstration of my love for Him and to show that He, and only He, deserved crowns. This took place over the course of a year beginning in Sept., 1977 - Sept., 1978 when He told me I needed to choose between Him and myself and my old life. It was around 3 am in my own living room, all by myself that I told Him I could not understand why in the world He would/could ever went me but I sure wanted Him! In that instant, I was changed into a new creature in Christ and all of the old things really did pass away and truly all things became new in me. I have never looked back over these nearly 45 years other than to thank my Lord and my God for taking me out of horrible darkness and bringing me into His marvelous light!

My son died of Fentanyl poisoning , he took something that was coated with Fentanyl! Police came to my house with this horrible news ,said he probably didn’t know!
The Lord open my eyes to go and outreach to the lost and hurting in our streets!

I few weeks ago I came under spiritual attack from evil spirits. It's happened many times before, but this time, it was so powerful that I broke down in tears and called out the name of Jesus. I believe the demonic spiritual world is becoming more and more powerful

More powerful? Nope, believers have become more complacent. God is all powerful and has equipped his saints.
I feel like the veil between us and the other dimensions is thinning. I have experienced many things from the Lord all my life, but more these past few years. The Holy Spirit is our teacher and reveals the deep things of God to us. God still speaks today! God shows us his creations. Amazing!

Pastor Jack, as an Evangelist daughter, I understand good preaching when I hear it. More importantly to me is to find a Pastor with the hunger for lost souls that I share. I remember going door to door witnessing as a 5 and 6 year old with my father and sharing Jesus with people. That was the Jesus Movement.
Today we are in the End of Days. You are addressing these things along with Prophecy and a Hunger for souls as well!! Listening to your speaking is so valuable to the true believers today. I never understood what (possibly)happened to me until now. I worked in my inner city church youth ministry. A new neighborhood boy probably 7th or 8th grader came to mid week service for the first and last time. Since he was sitting alone I went over to talk to him and get to know him. I said hi and what’s your name. He turned his head and looked me straight in the eyes and said, “ I know you, your name is (my name, first and last), your van, your gray van outside has a flat tire.”Then he got up and moved to get away from me and sit alone again. After service I went out to find my van had a flat to the ground tire. Never saw the kid again, he didn’t tell me his name, he never came back. I wouldn’t have described him as a weird or scary kid - only thing that stood out to me was how much more mature he seemed to behave. Most all the boys his age couldn’t sit still and played basketball until service started. He was a sat still in a chair and waited quietly for service start. He was mature in his eyes, stoic, plain spoken with no inflection whatsoever. To me it was a very weird, not scary, experience I’ll never forget. I hope wherever he is today he is OK and that he is one of the lost sheep Jesus has found.

Maybe it was an angel, there to observe. 😃 Or maybe he somehow knew you and noticed your van had a flat before you spoke to him. Or maybe he is psychic. Some kids become more mature and stoic when their family life is not the best. Maybe the other kids could tell you who he was.
God is working on me. I've been a believer my whole life, but not living my life according to God's word. I have been very guilty of everything 2 Timothy 3:1-5 lays out.
Recently, I've been convicted harder than ever, and the last couple weeks, all the questions and uncertainties I've had are being directly answered through these random videos popping up on my Facebook and UA-cam algorithm. I am so Grateful for God continuing to work on me.

My wife prayed for a lady at church during service just for a headache last week. She started manifesting crazy as soon as she heard the name Jesus.
I know the pastor says that a christian can't be possessed, but I have seen many true believers manifesting demons.

But Jesus did cast out demons and He encourages us to do the same. I’m open to it because Jesus did it. Whether the person is a Christian or not only God knows but it’s not my job to figure it all out. We are called to preach the Gospel everywhere. When you are walking in the Spirit, you will see God move!

My mom is pentecostal and very spiritual. She left our family when I was 10 (now 55) and she would regularly severe ties with me. We're now currently estranged at her request. Her spirituality is demonic and has destroyed her life, but she is blind to it. Everyone else is wrong but her.
It's a blessing at this point, not having her in my life.

Women in ministry? Really? My husband plays guitar and sings and I do bible studies at a local nursing home. They asked if we would take Sundays because THEY COULDN'T FIND A PASTOR TO DO IT. I teach at each one... And I have a 36+ year retired Nazarene pastor, a holiness retiree, a German woman who was raised in a convent... None of them have had an issue. In fact, the only one that did sent a handwritten note with that often misunderstood verse, nothing else. Then he began to attend, until I explained why transubstantiation and " office of the keys" were false doctrine... His response? "I WOULD DIE FOR THIS DOCTRINE!!". And that one? Newly retired Lutheran pastor... And that German woman that was raised in a convent?? SHE HAD NEVER ONCE HEARD THAT JESUS DIED FOR HER... and THAT'S why we do it. Hubby is more than ok with me doing the actual bible lessons. And so is Jesus -- HE is the one that opened the door.

Got baptised last Sunday. Have believed all my life and NO, I do not nor have ever spoken in tongues. :) Hinbbs is right about demonic activity too, I have NEVER unde rmy 47 years on this earth seen nor experienced evil like now. There seems to be no end to it either, its constanty increasing.

THANKS be to God for this. I've been healed by God, Bible-style. Annointed with oil by the elders and prayed over. Instantaneous. It left me shaking, and I shook every time I retold the story at the memory of the Power of God. But neglecting sanctification and reading the rest of Scripture while only being interested in miracles is so dangerous. And the case where you described people assuming their kids are possessed because of bad behavior is just heartbreaking. We're commanded to test spirits. We're commanded to discern and rightly divide the Word of God. Let's put on the full armor of God and fully assess each situation according to His Word.
I'm also grieved because some pastors outright deny the Spiritual gifts and that people still operate in them---with God's gifting--today. We should eagerly desire the Word to be confirmed in people's eyes with miracles. We should eagerly pray and seek God for healing for our loved ones and those who hate us.

heavy atmosphere
I live in a farming community in Canada. For years I went to local funerals to be a polite neighbor. Almost every single time we came home we felt this “heavy atmosphere”. People please wake up to this. I finally learned it’s called OPRESSION‼️ We were known as the relgious couple. We had no idea how ungodly our community was. I have purposely quit attending these funerals. Lots of Christians are NOT aware of this. PLEASE TAKE NOTE.

In regards to Pastor Hibb's assessment of pentecostalism/charismatics, the greatest miracle/move of the Holy Spirit I've ever encountered is my own conversion and testimony to obedience. I keep a prayer journal just talking to God about struggles and praises. When I go back and read I'm amazed every time at how my God answers my prayers. I could never remember it all if it wasn't written. No matter what doubts the enemy throws, I can always go back to my testimony and remember all the Lord has done.
His comments on entry points are especially pertinent!!!

Look at the music she listens to as well as movies, UA-cam channels, TikTok’s…whatever. Too much out there for our kids to see and it’s overwhelming at times. I can guarantee there’s something she is allowing into her life that doesn’t need to be there. It won’t be easy, unfortunately. Hard to be a parent these days with everything at their fingertips.

Every person will fail you. The enemy is using them to attack you. Pray and go where Jesus wants you to be. God will provide what you need. Seek Him about volunteering in the church. Do the things God has given you talent to do. You will find peace and comfort. And possibly a friend

Ted don’t worry. My husband andI were excommunicated from a small Village Missions church for standing by a couple who were falsely accused of child abuse. We were actually handed over to Satan for the destruction of our flesh. That was 34 years ago and they were all proven wrong. Of course it nearly destroyed us but two years ago the place burned to the ground. Sometimes we pay a heavy price for truth,especially in small rural areas where people don’t know what doctrine,nevermind love is. We are still shunned to this day. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
I’ve left a few other comments as well as to how our family has been attacked by charismatic. Don’t fall for it. This was a fantastic message from Jack. Go find a church that makes sense.
Many years ago, we won a figure of a knight that had a devil head on its shield. We began having arguments often. We throw it away, and peace returned to our home.

For the last couple of days, I've been reading Ephesians 6, about spiritual warfare and how much we need to put on the full armor of God!
I was deeply hurt by some one telling me that I wasn’t saved because I don’t speak in “tongues.” I was saved over 50 years ago. My understanding is that the apostles spoke in a language that other people could understand without having previously studied it so the hearers could receive the gospel in their native languages. It’s not some spiritual gibberish. These people do great damage making “Tongues” into a false religion of its own. The Bible says “Work out your OWN salvation with fear and trembling.” We each have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I went to a Pentecostal church and got nothing out of the cacophony of confusion I heard. Like a bunch of cackling chickens. Does that please God?
Paul warned against that...let everything be done in decency and order.

Thank you pastor Jack for clearing up about speaking in tongues. My husband thinks it's strange that I can't speak in tongues and sometimes I feel inadequate As a believer. I've read 1Cor 12, and I always thought it was a gift, but I have so many people telling me that I need to speak in tongues because the devil can hear my prayers, (duh) but he can't when you speak in tongues. (I happen to think God is more powerful than the devil.) They also say that your speaking directly to God, in a heavenly language, and is between you and God. I have people telling me I'm just to fearful, or they tell me, "you have it," "you just need to get alone with God." So, thank you for clearing this up for me.
Yes the Lord can give many gifts. Speaking in tongues is one of the gifts but does not mean there is anything wrong with you. Do not let them do that to you. I am sure you have been given a different gift that they do not have. different. The lord hears our prayers.
Regarding speaking in tongues if you have this gift...
1 Corinthians 14:27-28 (nkjv)
[27]If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. [28] But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
Don’t buy into it my friend. Your husband may have a gift but if he is trying to force it on you he and your charismatic friends are likely babbling and completely out of order. I feel for you. Half my husbands family is charismatic but can never apologize when their prophecies don’t come true,,,,,eg Trump winning elections or that Trump loves God. It’s WRONG.
When I don’t want the enemy to hear what I’m saying to God I don’t pray out loud. I pray silently in the Spirit.
I think many who have had sound doctrine all their lives look around and think, “is this all there is?” They see a lot of empty works and endless words and long for the supernatural presence of God. Most churches are run more like businesses than bodies, and Christ is rarely even a figurehead, let alone the true Head. It is rare to find a good balance between personal communion with the Lord through the Holy Spirit and sound teaching.
You are right. They never saw the activities or evidence of the supernatural realm, which the Bible has made clear does exist, hence the leaving of church or 3xploring New Age and occultic practices.
I have had a demonic experience years ago. Thank God I had a Pastor in the Lutheran faith knew what/how to address this in my life. Praise Our God!!!

I’ve done what I thought was all the cleaning out but The Holy Spirit showed a couple of things so I prayed over them and am waiting to dispose of them . And to make a long story short I’m in the laundry room and I’m asking the Lord Jesus how do I know it’s taken care of ? I turned my back to the washing machine and was loading the dryer when the lid to the washing machine slammed shut !!! I have to tell you my story. I had prayed to the Lord and invited the Lord and his holy angels to come in my home. One day I had clothes in the washer and I noticed there was no longer any sound from it. Figuring the load was done, I went over to it and the lid was up. I asked my husband if he did it and he didn't. I think an angel was letting me know he was present and accepted my invitation. LOL.

If you encounter any pastor who asks to be identified as Apostle, Father, or some other title that elevates them, that should be your first red flag that the person is all about them, seeking a position of glory or elevated stature. That is unbiblical.

During a church missions trip to Guyana, we saw demon possession of a woman who visited church and an exorcism was performed outside the doors of the church (they see it not infrequently there because of the Hindu population). On the way home, I raised the question "I wonder why you seldom see someone demon possessedi in the U.S.? A friend said "You do. They go into politics." We all got a good laugh out of a not-normally funny event.
Go to Mormon territory,especially recent child murder cases. At least four in Idaho. Mormons are VERY deceived and occultish.
Seems to be the case in Canada too.
