I'm waiting for literally any of the star path themes we voted for in the survey a long time ago lol. It doesn't look like any of them came to fruition yet xP

I mainly had issues with the star path because it required me to open 2-3 doors for other realms I hadn’t unlocked yet. The star path should recognize what realms we have opened and which ones are not yet unlocked so that they don’t give us tasks with characters we don’t have yet; doesn’t make it fair for those who can’t open the realms on time to finish the star path 😕.
I had the same problem. I started a 2nd account using playstation this time and didn't have 3 of the doors opened. I didn't plan on doing that and then had to scramble to get dreamlight in order to open them up.
The same thing exists with Prince Eric as unlocking him requires completing all of Ursula's Friendship quests and possibly some of Ariel's.
I have the same issue, but also am on switch and ontop of not having realms unlocked, I need to be online to play, and I don’t have wifi at my house 😭 you used to be able to do tasks while being offline but now you can’t :(
The problem is, that would require generating various tasks for various players. And currently they have one set of tasks that's the same for everyone.
I can already see people complaining that someone else got generated easier tasks while they got all the grindy ones if they implement it
Not really ‘issues’ but more like inconviennces for you because you’re either behind or started playing late. That’s your problem as unfair as that may sound, but you can’t expect them to have a star path that gives each player individual tasks based on how far they are in the game, how would that even work? These star paths require you to be on a certain point in game for you to finish it, you just have to accept that and work towards that point instead of complaining.
I really enjoy doing the star path and unlocking things, even if I might never use them.
I'm a weirdo who loves doing quests (in all games) so as someone who has NOTHING left to complete in Dreamlight Valley, I really enjoy the starpaths and usually knock them out really quickly. As for the rewards in this star path... LOVE them. I missed the first parks starpath so I had no rides. But, my favorite item is by far, the fire station item. Would have paid 2000 moonstones for it, so this is a complete bargain.
Star paths are always worth it, imo. I usually finish them easily in two weeks with some minor grinding, so I feel like they give us more than sufficient time. The ancient machines have helped a lot too. I’m kinda over the theme park stuff now, but I did like the items we got. I only hope the next one has a very different theme.
First of all, we got our FIRST raincoat, which is a step up from a regular raincoat and would look great in dreamsnaps! And the theme seems to be Disney park/ Aladdin/ carnival/ toon town / Toy Story. Also, we only got 5 motifs! Which is so much better than the other star paths with 5,000 motifs.
Not to mention I believe this is our first time getting a house skin isn’t it?

Every Starpath is worth it to me! I didn’t care about the rides, but I was excited to get some toon town items because I’ve been trying to make my meadow toon town for ages lol
Agree with you on doing the star path even if you don't think you want the items now. I am so angry with myself for skipping two paths last year. I didn't do Haunted Holiday because I'm not a Halloween fan, but missed out on pirate stuff! And I'm sooo jealous every time I see the ice rink I missed from not doing the Royal Winter star path. Uggghhhh!

I enjoyed doing the star path, but having this stupid button event adding the blue buttons into fishing alongside it just made it really annoying, they overestimated how much people want to fish
Is the Star Path worth it _YES_ , it's always worth It but I did feel like this Star Path was a bit underwhelming but again that might be the Quality Ramp up. I don't know but it does have some good items like the Purple Sweater and a few buildings and stuff
I had trouble completing tasks because I had not unlocked all the characters. I am not that far along. This issue was so frustrating. I did love the items though!
Wow, first comment! I clicked so fast on your new video. I can't wait to watch it. :) I had a glitch one time where Jafar was at the restaurant. That was so hilarious. I have found if I just do each task until I can’t do anymore then move to another task, it seems so much easier. I had to work myself into this mindset bc I am project oriented and always want to finish one project before starting a new one. Also, I always try to combine the Starpath duties with the daily duties which helps on the “Complete 20 royal duties” requirements. Great presentation, MrStarinSky!
The wristbands are actually my favorite bracelets in the game 😊 I usually prefer to dress more casual and the spread of colors we have now match a lot of my favorite outfits!
That crab challenge took me 3 weeks 😢
The crabs were terrible 😞

for me, it took three days because i made sure i had the energy bar full and this made me get a drop of 8 crabs, the same thing happened to me with the shiny gems sooo, make sure you have that yellow bar as full as possible 😊 hope this helps!
as long as they bring princess related items i would never be dissapointed...but best items still are premium shop items tinkerbells wings megs dress and so on
I loved the star path and I love the spring festival. I loved making the cupcakes and delivering them in Remy’s made for easy work. I finally figured out that delivering the last cupcake each day to the person who asked me to make them, made it that much easier to collect my green buttons at the same time. I also felt like all of the rewards were great. Full disclosure, this is the very first game I have ever played in my life so I don’t know if other games give better freebies.
When it rains in my valley, I can hear it raining but don’t see it raining. I’m not complaining about it though.
My issue is really that I hope they separate the themes of items in Premium Shop vs Star Path because it makes the premium shop feel like even more of a cash grab when it's filled with items that fit the Star Path theme. I'd much rather the premium shop have different variety to not make me feel like I'm overpaying for something that couldve been in the Star Path.
This star path was difficult with to gift scrooge because of the event. I think that because of this it was more grindy.
I have enjoyed every starpath and love the items and love your always positive attitude
I already can't wait for the next atar path and I couldn't imagine not playing the star path. As a person why enjoys quests, completing things, collecting etc, the star paths always provide us with more Disney magic inbetween storylines, characters, quests etc. They are absolutely worth it, for all the reasons you gave and aye, even if you didn't use every item, there's no harm in having it, because chances are you will need it, or want it at some point. I agree, would be nice if we didn't have more theme park items for a while. I love them and love the Magic Kingdom park I created, we really don't need anymore for a while. I try hard not to finish them so quick, I even deliberately don't do them for a couple of days, but I always end up going through it fast. I don't have issue with any of the tasks,. I even like fishing in game, it's quite relaxing. I take wee Stitch and we go fishing 🤩

While I was watching your video I finished my last star path duty. It was mining for dark blue gems. I used a potion. You reminded me of potions, and I got my last five gems so thank u. I love the star paths they are fun and it gives you something to do.

It's worth it, so we don't have to be extorted later in the Premium Shop. That being said, a lot of the tasks were very repetitive. And I've used more of the Parks Fest craftable items, then the rewards from the Star Path. This one definitely wasn't my favorite to complete.
In terms in glitches and such, I didn't run into issues with the Star Path. Might be because I finished it before the hotfix and Parks Fest event started. Having to mine for shiny gems is annoying. Fishing is also annoying, especially blue bubbles. 😩
To add: with the items from the Star Path, we didn't need 3 wristbands. The clothing items weren't interesting to me. They looked like TOM items, not well done ones either. The rides also were a lil lackluster. Wished they picked cooler rides.

Agree, definitely makes sense to do the starpath even though this starpath seemed a little less exciting items than others. I am hoping for oriental items in next starpath 🤞

I have a problem with the starpath because hanging out with villagers took 2 and 3 times the amount of time than required.
This always happens to me for some reason. It's very annoying when it doesn't track xP
Completing the star path was fine, it was whatever. Slightly more difficult, but I still had it done in the first week. No complaints from me about the actual tasks, even if a few were annoying.
It was worth doing for the cost, yeah. There are a few good items that are definitely worth that. But having the lowest quality star path with so much filler (the bracelets, the shirt that looks like it was made in ToM... Ugh) alongside the highest quality/most expensive premium shop lineup... It's a choice. Especially when the game is so buggy and broken. I loved the Disney parks star path last year but not this one. I don't have much good will left for gameloft at the moment. Really hope to see better from the game with the next update.
Personally, I didn't find this StarPath worth it. At first when I found out the theme, I was excited. Honestly, I personally think that the earlier StarPath's were so much extremely better, so I'm glad that those items are coming into the Premium Shop.
Just want the Switch to stop crashing every few minutes and items disappearing. It's gotten to the point that, I just log on just to check my Scrooge Store or maybe try to complete some quests or try to do some decorating.
Honestly, I'm also getting so very tired of the DreamSnaps. Personally, I've gotten to the point that I just do what I need to complete it & whatever I get with Moonstones, I get.
Also, extremely want Snow White brought into the game, please 🥺🙏🥺🙏🥺🙏
Personally I think the star path was worth it but this one was a lot harder and sooo much more grinding and I felt more frustrated- of course exacerbated by Parks fear & the glitches plus game crashes. But had to keep grinding despite really needing to take a break from the game until next update. The rare fish, shiny gem & 15 sapphires task took AGES!! On a positive note I learnt about the benefits when you have 5+ or 15+ villagers of the same role so I can adjust my strategy for Mining & Fishing Villagers for the next star path.
This one was worth it to me because it was the first star path I’ve ever fully completed

I really thought the Star Path was worth it, especially as a newer player. I cursed it while fishing....A LOT lol. In the end, I'd do it again for all of the great items we could get. I'd rather grind than spend moonstones in the (overpriced IMO) Premium Shop.
Its probably easier to program weather to work at the same time on both islands. Ffxiv has ingame time be the same regardless of being in another world entirely. It helps with timed stuff for gathering.
I like getting all the rewards from the Star Path. However, if they removed the fishing tasks from the duties I would not be upset 😂
Star path is definitely worth it :D. the looney tune items are awesome and perfect for looney town.
Doing the starpath is a no brainer to me. You get most of the moonstones back and the items in the starpath are (for the most part) really nice. Plus forced mining and fishing makes me pretty good money!
Personally for me it was but honestly I’ve never done the others fully. This is the only one I unlocked with moonstones lol
I got everything from the star path. I would rather have it and not need it, then wish I had gotten it. I have used some of the items already in some Dreamsnaps. The next Star path, I think would be nice to have cultural, like you said, with items from around the world. Looking forward to getting Mulan. For the crab task, I combined it with fishing for Blue buttons. I would fish for crabs, then for buttons, alternating the biomes. I do fishing for an hour, so as to not be to bored.
Finished the star path a long time ago and still like 9 days left. The only issue I have is the fact that we’re forced to get buy the premium in order to get the ‘good’ stuff. Luckily we can even that out since we also get moonstones as rewards, but still. They are being so obvious trying to milk real money out of us but I swore I would never pay real money for moonstones, no matter how cool the rewards are.
I’m still hoping for a classic disney princess star path ✨😁

I liked most of the items in the star path. Do I think it was the best no, but I think it's still good.
This Star Path seemed a lot more grinding but I think it was because i was working on both events at the same time-- but I would of bought it anyway I like the sta path and think they are worth it

More expensive one gives you 100 tokens to spend right away, so you can get some items sooner. Cheeper one you can get the same deal, but only after you fully complete it:)
even though this was not my fave starpath, the items were not too inspiring (for me). still, we got a bunch of new items and at least half of them are interesting enough.
but, my gosh, some tasks took forever, due to the constant crashes of the game.......
I still have to do the shiny purple gem task, and unfortunately, that is possible to finish in the valley, which always crashes, i might even give up on it :(

This is my least favorite star path but it still had items in it I absolutely love.
My game game is bricked since the update. I can’t open it and do the star path.
The rides are very low quality and this wasn't a Disney park starpath because they put rides behind a paywall instead of having them in starpath
It was really hard ti's time with game crashing and freezing up every 5 minutes still not fixed

The biggest problem is because they did NOT fix the crashing people like me had to doe every single task 2-4 times because the game crashes not saving wnat you just did and if you try to manually save it freezes and you have to restart without saving anyways.

I loved the star path difficulty. This game is a grinding game. There’s no reason why the star path should be “handed to us.” (Which is where our society in general is going - don’t make me work for it. Just give it to me. That translates to games as well with all the complaints everywhere.). Let us grind for it. They give us plenty of time to finish it. Even if you can’t play everyday. You still have time. For the crabs, I got crabs out of white and blue bubbles. Three came from white. So I think it’s worth it. The rewards are great. They always give us cute stuff in there.

The worst task has to be making the 3 training manuals! That’s 15000 Dreamlight 🫠 I had to choose between this and unlocking forgotten lands. 😢 I don’t think I’ll finish in time because I had to unlock 2 realms as well to do other event duties. Ughhhh
It is woth it but i did got all the stuff of the star path even with the issue withe game that crash on me i still manage to get all the stuff and i only have 3 more left to do but for me it is worth it
