The oil and filter change kit is priced ridiculous in my opinion, that's way more than it costs to do a full synthetic DYI oil and filter change on my Chevrolet truck. At $85 for the 900cc kit.... I priced just the filter and all the seals from Can Am and they're $25. That makes that the 3.5 quarts of the semi synthetic oil in that kit are $60. I purchased a 5 quart jug of Mobil One 5/40 full synthetic SN rated oil from Walmart for $27, got the filter and all the seals from the Can Am dealer and saved around $30. I've been an Automotive Technician for 35 years , I'm all about DYI and like to work on my toys also. I enjoy your channel and appreciate the hard work you put into it. 👍
CVT CLUTCH guys that tune clutches specifically for snowmobiles state it is not a good thing to switch cvt belts from factory spec to a custom belt. Those grooves match the tuning specifically set for the clutch. If you offset the tuning it will have a negative impact on performance. Do your own research , that is what I found . Also your supposed to change your springs , in your clutch . Kinda dissapointed regarding the fuel filter . It should not be required on those specs that is rediculous . quick Tip: YOU WANT cheap engine oil that is 5 w 40 blend ? go buy Shell Rotella diesel full synthetic blend. Low ash formula. Its high quality , viscosity seems good and engine seems to like it . Just because it says diesel engine , doesn't mean you cant use it , its just a low temp low ash formula , thats it. Saves you tons of money ALSO ----- you did not mention and I am very suprised . The OIL catch CAN . It is required . save your self money , ill link vid
@@TheCarmlsista I researched E10 gasoline shelf life, that fuel is what's common where I live in the northeast. Acording to BP Petroleum, fuel in a sealed container has a storage life of 3 months at 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30'C) average and for one month in an equipment fuel tank. I've never had any issues letting my bikes sit for a few weeks without adding stabilizer. Hope that helps.
@@brianp5244 thank you for researching this for me. I don't believe I will have a need for using a stabilizer unless I don't ride my bike 3wks or longer according to your research and person upkeep of your bike. Again, thank you.
Great video! Just did my 6000 mile oil change and I was looking to stock pile parts for the 12K maintenance. Thanks for the list.
Glad it helped!

Thank you so much, I appreciate that

Great feedback
I am having that problem with my fuel ⛽️ pump now going to get it tested before getting it installed
How are they going to test it?
@c8pate744 I will let you know 2morrow I got a 9am appointment
@c8pate744 They use the computer system to test the fuel pump just a matter of hitting a button and putting a object on the fuel pump
Rykers need so much Maintenance
Definitely need a lot
quick question how long is this code good for. And thanks
Code?
@c8pate744 the code for BRL tuning
Have any one ever done a water pump seal replacement. I cant find a video on it
Hmmmm, I don't think so
How often do you change or add the fuel stabilizer?
I add sta-bil 360 for winter storage. I don't use it during the normal riding season
I will get that awnser for you
@@brianp5244 I live where the climate is warm most of the year. If I am out of town for a week or two will the stabilizer be necessary?
