@@MrShaks72 Most of his movies don't make much money at the Box Office because he's not someone who makes movies purely for mass entertainment. He brings his own distinct flavour, nuances and has a niche audience.

Of course, likes or dislikes are a matter of personal choices and I consider 'Haider' to be one of the modern day classics. It has a sombre melancholic tone(keeping true to its source material 'Hamlet') but the soundtrack , performances , choreography of 'Bismil' song and cinematography are just brilliant. I remember watching it in Cinema hall with friends and how Shahid's epic monologue scene left everyone spellbound! We learned the meaning of the word "chutzpah" after watching this movie 😁
This movie redefined Shahid's career as a matter of fact.

Only a couple of scenes and Azmeri Haque Badhan proved how brilliant a performer she is! It's not quite easy to share the screen with equal brilliance when you have a seasoned actor like Tabu Besides but she did it, can't wait! ❤️

Amazing casting. Apart from the known faces, Azmeri Haque Badhon from Bangladesh, making a debut in this film, makes it curious. Looking forward to watching it. I watched Kuttey for Vishal Bhardwaj(he wrote it with his son, Aasmaan, who directed it). It was terribly disappointing, despite the presence of great actors.

Such a lovely experience to see the whole Bharadwaj family is genuinely making contribution to the indian cinema in terms of storytelling and narration! Definitely a special mention should go Tabu who has been exceeding expectations in an age where most of her female co colleagues had either hung up their boots or doing non meaningful garbages ending up annoying the viewers. Kudos to all.
This is the kind of spy movie we want from India, not that Tiger and Pathaan BS. Realistic, grounded, and one that keeps the viewers on edge. Hope this is as good as D-Day.
