Thanks for the advice. I just picked one up with a front wheel electric motor and am sorting through it. Great tip about the front handlebar mount. Thanks again!!!
The Bungees wore out eventually. I have replaced them with parachute cord, cut and looped to the right length, and hang them on the back of the seat when not in use. Oh, the new seat has a built in suspension designed for tractors - Trac Seats). Much nicer for my back and it fit perfectly on my PAV 3
@@vidarmagnusthepotcakebroth6865 could you post a pic or vid of your new seat.for your pav3 and where you got it?...i got 2 of them and would love a seat like that
Nice dogs, are they island rescues? I'm thinking about getting a PAV3 for my dogs too. Can I pick your brain a little? First, have the dogs had you up on 2 wheels yet? Second, is what Worksman has on it's site " Riding is made easier as when you lean back into the seat you use your legs, back, and abdominal muscles together, relieving undue stress on your hips and knees" true? Third, is that replacement tire a solid tire from Husky? Thanks in advance.
Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, my little pals were sent to our local shelter from a rescue group in St. Thomas. Yes, when we take corners at speeds over 6 mph and I have to lean out over the inside tire to keep from flipping over. They can also flip the trike over backwards so don't let them chase something behind you. As for the muscle groups being worked, I don't know. It is comfortable to pedal. You can not "stand" on the pedals as they are out in front, as opposed to under, the seat. The rear tire size is only available from Workman's Cycle or on Amazon, as they go on the heavy duty rims. I am getting about 1000 miles on the drive/breaking tire (right rear tire is the drive/breaking tire). The other tires show very little wear. These rims are incredible as we have yet to bend or dent them through all of the curb hopping, pot hole hitting and off road excursions.

I'm looking at the e-bike version and here you have a two dog power version. Cool.
Thanks
I appreciate the bungee cord idea, I just bought a (used) Worksmean Team Dual and loading into the truck was awkward. This would help

You ride that at 20? I would be afraid of rolling it at that speed.
