This is a PERFECT design that gets you 400 to 500 iron ingots per hour!
Material List:
- 2 Chests
- 1 Hopper
- 1 Campfire
- 5 Buttons
- 2 Signs
- 1 Lava bucket
- 2 Water bucket
- 20 Beds
- 20 Fletching tables or working stations
- 20 Villagers
- 2 1/2 Any spawn proofing block

Only issues i see possibly arising from the farm is villagers glitching out of blocks from being pushed around, especially if they on the edge of 2 chunks. I see 1 of my villagers already stuck in a wall. Luckily, even if i lose a few, its such an easy fix. I used composters as work stations meaning i habe farmers, beautiful thing with that is as long as i have emeralds i can buy bread from them and breed them with it, easily putting you right back at 20 villagers
Outside of that, mine is working great. I built it in an ice berg biome next to a really tall mountain (theres an ancient city beneath me so mountain is huge with caves). Im like 1 block away from an iceberg too. I thought it would mess the farm up but luckily it isnt, the farm is working great!
To keep the water from freezing i placed wood half slabs (bottom slabs of course to prevent mobs from spawning) at the same height as the villager's roof, and placed it over all the water source blocks.
So happy got me a whole stack and a half of iron in only 10 minutes so this things really pumping them out!, THANK YOU so much for the help!!!🩵🩵💙🩵💙💙🩵

This prob should be pinned cause id cry, i thought of it naturally do to my default feeling of paranoia in this game, but its very good point

Make sure to add leaves on top of the villagers otherwise iron golems can spawn in where the villagers are, also if you want to make more iron you can just stack the farm by just adding more layers with beds, fletching tables and villagers etc
Hey if you wanna stop the villagers from spawning in cats just get ten cats to sit near the farm and they shouldn't spawn in the iron farm anymore which should get you better rates

How should we bring the 2 villagers up to the platform?
1st i placed water in the box that you are trying to get the villagers to
2nd, about 3 blocks away from the iron farm, i built around 20 blocks upward and attached a ladder to it. I then bridged till i was about in the center of that villager box with the water in it.
I pushed my 2 villagers into a boat, attached a lead, and slowly brought them to the ladder, slowly went up the ladder, and slowly went over the bridge till the boat seemed like it was hanging over the villager box (i cant stress enough the importance of watching your speed, esoecially when going up that ladder because the villagers can get to bouncing and break that lead). Then i jumped into the box. Villagers took no damage because of the water
Then i removed the water. It cost the least if you ask me, cheap wood, cheap building blocks, and free leads from the wandering trader. No need to use iron was biggest plus for me considering the whole point i was building the farm for lol
My breeder and this farm are next to the same river. One at a time boat 2 villagers over most of the way, and make a short railway system to get em' in their new home.

quick question what does the campfire do ?
It kills the cats that spawn from the pseudo village you're creating. If you're VERY patient you can capture 5 of the cats as they spawn and trap them in a glass room above the villagers, that'll prevent cats from spawning (which means no cat loot in your iron farm storage)

I built the farm to a T and no golems will spawn. I built it in a creative world first and it worked just fine? What could be the issue? I have the layout correct, all 20 villagers and they are all working but nothing but cats are spawning
Try going far away from the farm, hundreds of blocs and go back to it, also make sure there are no villages around.
After I built the farm, no golems would spawn
Check for caves nearby, if you found them, fill them with blocks. (Water caves count too)

Try leaving the world and going back in or try switching difficulties.

It depends on the location, if there are hills around you will have to do that, but if you choose a nice flat are just like i did, you don't really need to, and thanks! I really appreciate it!

Yeah you could! As long asthe villagers are rendered it'll work, if you want it to be even better, increase your simulation distance.

You can, but there is. Specific way of doing it, i made a video a while ago about a quad iron farm you can go check it out.
my golem farm was working at first now it’s not any tips on what happened i haven’t touched anything or moved anything near it

@@manglo4748 i found out that if you leave your game on for too long it just stops working so close out the app and reload minecraft and see if it starts working again (that’s what i did and now it works like new) :)!

Hmmm try going really far away from the farm and then going back to it, that should fix it.
It's perfect. Just one issue, the cats are spawning inside the Villager Box, is there a way i can fix that?
Place at least 10 cats near the village safe because villagers have a 50 percent chance spawning golems or cats but if u have the cat cap reached which is like 10 cats then it will only be 100 percent golems only
Keep them safe next to the villagers like in a little box or something

Nope, they work fine, make sure there are no villages around and that you have the right amount of beds villagers and working stations.

Well with optimal villager working pattetns and getting the max drops from every golem you can get to 500, i actually got 502 when testing.

So i just did this and its working but sometimes the iron golem spawns outside ontop of the cube the villagers are in, i tried adding another layer of bushes on top but they still spawn on top idk why this is happening whats the fix to this?

You could make more spawning platforms but it's not really stackable, although i made a quad iron farm a while ago you might wanna check it out.

Be careful sometimes the iron golem will spawn in the box whit the villagers so I placed 8 leaves in the middle of the box so there is no space for a iron golem to spawn (do it if you want to afk for a good time) thx for the vid 👍

Yes, idk if its because the villagers keep working or the sense of danger spawns the golems. Mines actually seems to speed up at night oddly
My first iron farm wouldnt start spawning them at night till the first time it hit day light. I think they need to detect enough villagers working before they start spawning them on nights.
This farm does work at night but just like you said, you need to wait an entire minecraft day for it to start, but after that it'll work just like it's day time
