Thomas I’m glad to see you make another UA-cam video and as usual it was a great video I’m glad you shared with us what you’re planning to do with the 0ld 718 because like you said it comes a time that you just get tired of working on things and it’s time to jack it up and run a new one up under it and yeah you’ll have another note but you will have a peace of mind knowing that you have a warranty on that machine now and you don’t have to come out of pocket to pay for anything that happens to it yeah you’ll have downtime, but in the long run the newer machine will pay for itself just by having the warranty on it and I’m speaking for myself I just don’t care for TikTok I’ve been with you since your first video you put out and Lord I don’t know how long ago that was when you started your UA-cam channel but I’ve been here ever cents. But anyway brother I guess what I’m trying to say is you do whatever floats your boat and I will still be here watching your videos with everyone that you put out and I’m glad to see Brady is back out there with you because he is an all-around man he can do it all and when you get a person like that you better take care of them because there’s not many like that anymore. So y’all stay safe out there my friend and try to stay cool and we’ll see you on your next video brother and I’m still praying for you
Great video.. There comes a time when enough is enough for what you guys fo go for a new one..Like you said you have warranty.. Piece of mind.. Everybody seems to wander back home 🤣 We got that same grease gun I think it's defective it waste so much grease 🤔 🇺🇲😎
Great video Thomas, I’m sure rather you get 843Lii or 724g it ll be a hard long thought process, but you get what’s best for the company, if I missed it sorry and you can answer this in a video, are y all going to keep the track cutter a long with rubber tire like been doing.
My 720G does good in my opinion with all of it but we stay in 1st thinning 90% of the time but we do clear cut and 2nd thin and it does good with big wood too
The tigercat has been a great machine for cutting wood but its like a car when you get a lot of hours or miles on them they start having what they call gremlins in a motor
If you get an 843 being you thin, I would get it with the fd55 head seems to handle trees better than the fd45. Get a 724 best all around head is a 5500. Wider pocket than a 5600 so it’s harder to get a tree stuck and turn over.
724 perfect and you can get the Same technology on the cutter like the deer I like Bandg equipment cause they have great service and they won’t do you wrong
Lol. I'm not talking about buying two new machines. I meant you using that rubber tired machine with a track machine. Sounds like your doing it already. I'm just saying up grading that machine would maybe prolong the life of your track cutter by relying on a rubber tired machine.
I’m 100% biased but the 724 tigercat is the best cutter I have ever ran we’ve had John Deere in the past and cat and I will never switch to anything other than tigercat
@@CuttingEdgeLogging_Thomas i’m sure it’s a good machine I have ran all of them I still prefer the tigercat and another big reason the John Deere dealer around where I live sucks and the tigercat dealer is head and shoulders above everybody else
I’ve ran Deere for about 18 or 19 years and loved all of ‘‘em I’ve had. I put 11,000 hours on a 843k and It ran just like the day I bought it the day i sold it I now run a 843l2 and have about 1200 hours I’ve only blew 1 line and changed teeth twice runs great lot of lifting power and saw recovery speed. I would recommend the Deere to anybody. I work out of Olla La on a clear cut crew with 2 skidders and 2 loader and with new teeth and in good timber I can be several hours ahead. Go with the Deere. Stay safe and god bless Thomas.

I’m sure they’re a great machine, I’d go 724 if I go Tigercat

That’s what she said😂
Thomas the rubber tire is just a little tired. Y'all take care and have a blessed week and I'll see you on your next video.

I believe in keep on cutting with a new one and let it pay for its self. NO STOPPING. Cut that Wood
That’s right
Great video Thomas take care
Thanks for watching
Hey Thomas, I'm going to be in Deridder for my brothers wedding this October. Any chance I can come by and visit your job site?
Have to hit me up on Facebook, we might can work something out
724 perfect and you can get the Same technology on the cutter like the deer I like Bandg equipment cause they have great service and they won’t do you wrong
Tigercat has nothing close to TimberMatic Maps
Think about how much longer of a life each machine would have by running two machines. Not necessarily at the same time. Good idea!
And how would you propose someone pay for two machines and not doubling the production?

Every operator says the new 843 will walk circles around the 724

Get a 720g best all around cutter you can first thin 2nd thin and clear cut and has the ass to handle the wood
Same size as the 724, might as well buy the more powerful machine
Demo u a 843L2 I think you will be impressed I’ve ran a 2019 724G tc an I like the Deere for the simple face of how comfortable an roomy the cab is
