You have to let the onions fry btw😢... Then add the tomatoes... Cook them... Add the spices... Cook it again.... Then add ur chickpeas... Add sm water cook again.. Simmer well Plz do it well... U look like u added everything at once.. N it's not like dat
Just a suggestion. Add Onion first. Fry for a good 3-4 mins till it turns golden brown. Add tomato. Let it soften. Then add salt to turn it into puree.

Totally. Caramelising the onions will change your life
This is great advice.
Thank you!! I've done this before and love it! ☺️
Exactly!
Daphne beaupre would love this
You should try to cook the spices with the onions and stuff first to get the flavour out, then add the tomatoes
Thank you!! I've done this before and love it! ☺️
Just got all the ingredients today, wish me luck 😂
Omg is it a chickpea coconut curry day.. All the the 4 videos I have watched in a row in UA-cam shorts are *coconut chickpea curry*

Is there a subsitute for the coconut milk? I think that would ruin it for me. EDIT: I love curried potatoes and chickpeas with Dhal Pouri Roti 😊
I make it with just regular milk and it's yum!
No point of adding milk
Add yogurt ( curd)
Is there spinach added to this? it looks like it but not listed in the ingredients on the website.
Hi yes I added it here! It's in the notes right above the recipe as an option, I used about 1 cup!
