Was fortunate to play No. 2 about 30 days before Payne won in ‘99. I was a solid 13 HC playing lots of SoCal courses… My chipping was solid. Well, the upside Tea cup greens ate our lunch! Ping Pong effect and four putts! To this day, that course scared me .. 🤓🤥😂🤥

It's good to have the Hall back in Pinehurst. My dad was a security guard at the old Hall in Pinehurst from 1973 to 1978. He was there as it was being built. Those are good memories from my childhood.

It's always sad and disappointing when sports lower their standards and just start putting everyone into a hall of fame. The hall of fame is supposed to be for legends who were at the top of their sport, not just someone who won once.
