- I think the iPhone is a great piece of tech, but there are a couple of things that really annoy me in 2024. Numbers aren't easily accessible on the keyboard, you can't put apps in specific locations, and other annoying little quirks.

1) use Gboard or deal with it (i just use default ios keyboard but wtvr)
2) just go to ur audio settings. that’s literally it, just look for it toward the top
3) oh well? like that sucks but everything is usbc so it’s a no brained to make it all usb c so everything is more compatible and not so apple-specific

Bruh you can set different volume levels for notifications and alarms as well as media, just go to settings
True, but there should definitely be a quicker and easier way to do this. The volume sliders on android phones are *way* more convenient.
That's just one of the many reasons why I still carry an android along with my iPhone.
You can but the ringtone and alarm have the same volume control, and you have to go to settings and it’s a very tedious process, unlike android they are all separate and easily accessible

The stupid Bluetooth system, I hate can’t block the calls (or answer voice messages) when I’m listening music on my desktop setup, I can do that on my old Samsung from 2018

I would totally agree if this video were about the 14 pro, but the 15 is lighter, smaller, and has rounded edges.

I agree with everything. I grew up with android, then switched to apple. and i now use both!
😂 I definitely did the same. I haven't carried an iPhone since the 3GS, but I liked the iPhone cameras on recent models quite a bit and ended up with a 15 Pro Max, even though I still take my Galaxy Note or Tab S9 with me nearly everywhere I go.
I used both for a while in last year I wanted to switch to Apple full time but couldn't until one of my friends buy his first iPhone, a 15 Pro Max, so I did also the move to only one phone, the iPhone, I resisted one and half month, then I traded both the iPhone and the old android (Moto edge 20, fine phone I loved it so much) for a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra refurbished and never looked back at iOS or iPhone.

You can disable that in screen time settings (Settings -> Screen time -> Screen distance -> Set the switch to off. I feel your pain its so annoying...
If you go to shortcut, you can do a lot of stuff with the action button

definitely the heavy software process in the camera aka deep fusion/smart hdr! Its ridiculous how images turn out sometimes.. and not giving the option to turn it off is shady af.
Tbth, my old xs - in almost every scenario- shot better photos than my new iphone.. especially in lowlight situations without turning on night mode.. such a shame!
Even a SE 2016 can hold up sometimes (with a small bonus because of retro sentimentalism).. even if the sensors are so advanced by now (at least on paper).
Idk.. maybe thats conspirative, but i think the 'pure', unedited pictures on these newer models sometimes (!) actually don’t look that appealipng (you can see them one millisecond before its displayed edited.. even can take a screenshot if fast enough).. they‘re really grainy and smudgy.. my first thought was that the sensors itself arent capable of taking good quality pictures themself- almost like it necessarily needs further software optimization (and so that feature was heavily pushed and implemented).
But idk.. of course the newer 'the better'. And with ProRes the actual camera should and can shine.. so idk. But with some models i really get the feeling.
I think the charm of Apple is simplicity, so having one volume setting is easier.

Is it not more complicated to have to go to the settings instead of just adjusting all volume in 3 steps (volume key; 3 dots; adjust system, alarm, music sound). This too without losing access to whatever you were interacting with

and with the shortcuts app you can make it do lots of things
