I think you know the reason... Because the record companies here are greedy bastards who only care about profits rather than signing actual talented artist. They either just sign celebrities or the ones who got their popularity because of their good looks who, majority of them have no lick of talent whatsoever as long as they make them money. There are a lot of gems in the OPM indie scene, if only they give them a chance.
