- Hey all! Today I’m sharing our school nighttime routine of a single mom & preschooler. I’m also sharing how I prepare for the next school morning by doing morning preparation. From writing out a list of what is in my preschoolers lunchbox to setting out my coffee mug the night before, it all makes this single mom routine easier.

Such a cute video. I really need to implement a night routine for when my son (4 years old) comes home from school. I'm also in school two days during the week and on those two days, I dont get home until after 6 pm so hell be at his dad's house until then. once I get home he comes to my house and we usually have about 1-2 hours before bed
On the regular days where I pick him up from school, I find my son usually wants to spend much of the time playing with me. our nights aren't really structured and I find myself getting overwhelmed as well as annoyed at times (even though hes just being a child and it's really on me to get myself in an ideal situation to prevent those feelings)

Congratulations on 80,000. I am such a night time routine person it's crazy. Both of my kiddos are grown but I still do one for myself and the home. Much nicer waking up to order than chaos.

Congratulations! Sunday through Thursday are school nights, so they are different from Friday & Saturday when kids are waking up to other activities. Sydney is so easy to please with food. Generally, we keep everything pretty subdued after the hot bath routine's done.
A good hot bath before bed does the trick 😴

Congrats on 80k!!! I have a 4yo and 2yo. Absolutely agreed that preparing as much as possible the night before is key in avoiding chaos in the morning. Otherwise, I’m sooooo overwhelmed. Our 4yo night time routine is quietly playing with Lego’s for 20mins, 2 books, song and “monster spray” 😜

Lol I'm definitely the one to have everything ready the night before..I can admit though..it doesn't always happen, there are nights I just can't do any more and I just go to bed, I definitely wake up and regret not having my coffee cup cleaned and ready lol that's literally the one thing I dread the next morning if I didn't do it the night before..idk why but I just hate to have to wash my coffee mug in the mornings 😮💨😒 I ONLY use one cup, it keeps my coffee warm basically all day..I LOOOOOVE it lol
