It’s been a minute since I’ve checked in on Jacob and I was so delighted to hear his interpretation of this somewhat cheesy sentimental song from the 70s. That said, I think he achieved one of the highest levels of musicianship by getting us to hear this tune in a different way. He successfully brought a laid back almost hip hop funk to this song. And he did it without a drum track or other prop that so many other pianists employ for effect. 👍👍👍👍👍
