He is so unique and charismatic. The fact is that he walks just perfect for how the designer would've wanted the clothes to be showcase. I keep coming back to this video. His personality & confidence are radiant. Reading all the comments - It’s not just me - he seems to put a smile on EVERYONE’s face ❤
Runway Models are terrifying. They are proof of the power of sheer presence, where the act of simply walking can be done in such a way to cause those around you to keep your full attention. It's like a distilled form of pure confidence that the average person could not achieve.
He has a way of embodying a vibe according to what he's wearing. It's something we can all relate to, but he turned it into an art form. He demonstrates the beautiful symbiosis that can happen between the designer and their muse, the fascination they can both create beyond just pretty people wearing pretty clothes, it becomes artistic expression, it becomes fashion.
I went to a well known fashion school and did some modeling on the side. Back then you were yelled at if you tried to stand out or pull focus in any way. Especially on the runway and especially in menswear. I didn’t even have a name, I was referred to as, “red shoes.” Your walk had to be on time- you had 3 seconds at the end of the runway before you turned around. You were just a walking coat hanger. I’m glad to see the industry has changed some since then. It’s refreshing to see a spectrum of masculinity and individuality actually embraced.
It depends whether it results in more or less sales... that's all that matters... As a model your there for the marketing, either to elevate the status of the clothes or to draw attention to them with click bait if you are personality driven walking.
haha ya. you discredit the reality of what alien proportions does for the look of a fit. Modeling school wont give you a set of legs that is 70% the height of your body.
He's German so just picture a German accent. I still can't believe this guy is only 22 and was discovered at a bus stop in Germany waiting to go home. It looks like he's been doing this all his life.
I love that his walk varies depending on the clothes he’s wearing. He adds his own “twist” and a touch of his persona for each outfit. The transformation is quite engaging to watch.
He's like a Sheldon Cooper if Sheldon was a runway model. Everything is so awkward and has its own rhythm that only makes sense to him. A giant praying mantis!
Ok good - thank you lmfao Very reminiscent of an awkward, gangly high school kid that's late to class. I didn't realise it wasn't suppose to be funny until I saw the comments ☠

Just so everyone understands, the majority of his walks are voguing. Some of these aren't a real runway walk. There's a reason why you don't see this type of "walking" often. It works for him. I think it adds something interesting to a standard show. Edit: I'm a professional runway model who's walked for House of Chapple, Anita Dongre, etc. This is not standard runway.

unchanging golovin and men don’t? Humans attribute personality traits to looks all the time (blondes are more fun and innocent, brunettes are shrewish and seductive, etc). And cartoons represent people, it does apply to real life. I also gave actors as an example-are they not real?
not realy, he is just a smart guy who know catch your attention
My son needs to be a model. He walks like this when I make him wash the dishes 🤣😂
Show him this video, maybe he'll actually like it 👀
i'm DYING hahahah
Aww😆
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Stoooooopppppp 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Saaaaameeee!!! My son does this up the stairs when I ask for him to do tidy his room.
🤣Adopt me
I love his versatility and variances to his walks. He stands out in his uniqueness and you almost can't take your eyes off of him.
He is so unique and charismatic. The fact is that he walks just perfect for how the designer would've wanted the clothes to be showcase. For male mainstream clothes, he walks with masculinity and for clothes with a feminine touch, he walks sassily and for the clothes which have a little extra glimmer, he walks like he's stalking across the dance floor under disco . Just phenomenal
Tell me im not the only one who is obsessed with this video. The Musik works so well with his walk and the fashion and the editing is soo good. I watch this five times a day, it gives me life
It's definitely inspiring haha. :3 Gives me life too.
My self esteem needed it.
Same🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Leon actually modeled to this music. John Galliano used the music for his Maison Margiela spring/summer 2020 collection. Leon modeled to it at 1:35
@@jellybeanchris i know! That show is also incredibly iconic!
It's insane how his walk and persona always perfectly fits what he's wearing. I love him. He doesn't take himself so seriously all the time, he brings life to the runway, he's goofy, but not in an obnoxious way. I love watching him walk. He's so fun. He's the human version of a statement piece
1:35 is extremely cringe and obnoxious
he looks cool, love the model but wtf. he looks and acts like a clown. not his fault it’s obviously whoever was in charge
@@yespls6260 According to the interwebs: "Dame became internationally known with the final appearance of the spring/summer 2020 show by Maison Margiela in the Paris Grand Palais in autumn 2019 at Paris Fashion Week, where he wore knee-high leather high heels and a sailor jacket, under which his white hot pants were seen. The performance was staged by the controversial creative director of the fashion label, John Galliano. Vogue described his performance as a combination of "angelic child and outrageous confidence" with which Dame "flooded social media." The performance was even characterized on Twitter as that of a "brazen baby giraffe just leaving a club.""
Que?
I keep coming back to this video. His personality & confidence are radiant. Reading all the comments - It’s not just me - he seems to put a smile on EVERYONE’s face ❤
He models with every part of his body, his eyes, his legs, his arms, his pose, everything its so engaging and hot
@unchanging golovin it is hot. the confidence, the show in every move. please do not start a fight on tastes.
unchanging golovin Maybe you’re not unattractive on the outside, but definitely on the inside.
big chungus nah have you seen his outsides? yikes
@unchanging golovin you must be so ugly that u feel the need to bring down a beautiful man just to feel a tiny bit good about yourself
@unchanging golovin imagine being so low and insecure
I love his aristocratic look and his charisma, good video!

@@jesshart7409 right! I'm not speak english and I'm a bit silly, thanks
Can we just take a moment to appreciate this brilliant editing? One of the finer works I've seen.
And the song... On point
Runway Models are terrifying. They are proof of the power of sheer presence, where the act of simply walking can be done in such a way to cause those around you to keep your full attention. It's like a distilled form of pure confidence that the average person could not achieve.
This man is an artist.
he LITERALLY give the outfits PERSONALITY. look at how he walks and feels more different with each piece of clothing
THIS
He can walk with different style... Prefect!
Exactly! He feels the style.
He’s like a Jojo character
He just exudes enemy stand user energy 😭😂
You got it right 😂😂😂😂😂 and someone please make an edit of jojo pose with him 🥺🥺
Jojo pose😂
trueee
@unchanging golovin have you seen the new archs or what? Jojos are skinny now
Stomps Like Gisele, is extra like Fernanda Tavares, poses like Linda evangelista, intimidating like Naomi... a legend is born!!
3:13 Poor Leon, they actually bound him to suppress his over the top energy.

@@CuriosityKilledKali ummm...a joke perhaps?
😂😂😂😂😂
Lol
PLEASEEE
He is one of the most gorgeous men ever. Such a unique face, powerful eyes, intense bone structure, just incredible.
I went to a well known fashion school and did some modeling on the side. Back then you were yelled at if you tried to stand out or pull focus in any way. Especially on the runway and especially in menswear. I didn’t even have a name, I was referred to as, “red shoes.”
Your walk had to be on time- you had 3 seconds at the end of the runway before you turned around.
Modeling school wont give you a set of legs that is 70% the height of your body.
yeah. sure. working at banana republic is hardly modeling. bet you can fold a mean shirt tho
@@marsianer4842 okay 👍
if i was chad,i would prefer chico or sean oprey type runway.Pure classy or badboy type but not like this femboy runway
I need to hear him talk, am I the only one?
He's German. So I guess imagine a german man...
Isak icon!!!!
Oh
@@christina4012 I imagine British
He's German so just picture a German accent. I still can't believe this guy is only 22 and was discovered at a bus stop in Germany waiting to go home. It looks like he's been doing this all his life.
It’s so sad that runway walk is cemented to be almost the same.
Leon made me see it all differently. I STAN. Bring the personality on runways too.
He really gets into the role. Cracked me up. My favorite is when he turned around and looked over his shoulder. Mad laughter.
I'm obsessed with this video.

1:37 ill just say... iconic
The zombie walk smh...
1:59 holy cow! He's just attractive
Gives me anxiety looking at it lol
That was bit too much😆
@Beatrice Adamson iconic ?????? 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
I feel like he walks according to what's his opinion about the outfit. Silly outfits get silly walks. Love it!
He’s more than a walking clothes hanger like some models. He’s an artist. He would make a great actor.
He would be a great Dorian Grey.
He's so freaking powerful and he knows it
Looks pretty scrawny to me
@@marcs2960 yeah it's alright
The more ridiculous the outfit, the more performative his walk. I love that.

I love that his walk varies depending on the clothes he’s wearing. He adds his own “twist” and a touch of his persona for each outfit. The transformation is quite engaging to watch.
Damn! Powerful! His walk depends on the outfit and you can tell his walk is very strong is like him and teh outfit are one... I am so freaking amazed.

When you march up to the subway store to complain that they left the tomatoes out of your hero.
He literally extracts character of the design out ! what a great Artist 👏🏼
You literally don't know what voguing is. What??
This is voguing .. how?
This is not voguing
I don’t see a single element...
Voguing?? LMAO! Sit down little girl you know nothing about ball culture.
